Unser Aufenthalt in dem Hotel was unglaublich. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Der Service ist überragend. Die Mitarbeiter sind überaus aufmerksam und lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Unser Kellner Malshan war spitze! Er macht seinen Job aus Leidenschaft, was somit auch auf seinen Service und die Gäste übergeht. Jede Mahlzeit war unglaublich. Die Gerichte sind frisch und per Hand zubereitet. Ich würde immer wieder zurück kommen!!

Wir waren 4 Nächte in Thotalagala und hätten es noch länger ausgehalten. Wir hatten die Sir Liptons Suite, die auch über einen eigenen Sitzplatz verfügt. Sicher Disco und Highlife sucht man hier vergebens. Dafür wird man in jeder Art verwöhnt und kann es eifach geniessen. Wer Freude hat am eher kolonialen Stil hat, oder im Rundreisegehtz mal eine Pause braucht, der muss dieses Schmuckstück einfach besuchen.

This hotel is absolutely out of this world in every way .. There are only 7 rooms I think , it’s a former planters bungalow. The setting, the service the rooms. If you have the opportunity stay here do not hesitate. The staff will arrange for you to go to Lipton’s seat ,and the tea factory. It’s a scenic ride through the tea plantations . Would be wonderful for part of a honeymoon . It’s a bit away from Ella .. so if you only have a night just stay here enjoy the hotel and do the trip to Lipton’s seat. If you have 2 nights it’s probably better so you can enjoy the hotel .

The service was one of the best we've ever experienced. Everyone was extremely attentive and took the utmost care of us. The food is another big topic: it was exceptionally good, so I would highly recommend having lunch and dinner, even when it's not included in the fare. Lastly, the location and the view were simply stunning. From the hotel itself you can explore the tea plantations without any other tourists (unlike in other tourist hotspots). Moreover, some of the hotel employees may join you on hike and show you some nice trails.

Amazing views - stunning architecture with loads of history and above all impeccable service! Literally Nothing to complain about! Would most definitely recommend. You feel at home the moment you step into the property and never want to leave.

A wonderful Hotel.Sets one back to the colonial times of a tea estate .The interior and all reminds of a English past history in Sl.Very personal attentive friendly service,even with a Butler looking all the time after you.Food experience and quality was fantastic .The tea☺️time rtea in early morning is a wonderful experience .They have a very special time around 5 pm and you can choose best handcrafted gins from around the globe ,sit relax enjoy your gin tonic either in garden or in the smoking room with fire place .The view outrageous ,no need Tv.at all ,as that is Tv enough ,mountains ,hills,far sight up to Yale Park or behind. All staff super attentive,friendly ,yet descreet .A must pearl Hotel to be experienced.Hikes available too A Lage natural spring water pool to freshen body and mind is at site too like a infinity pool ,but instead the ocean you see the landscape or slopes.A wonderfully Retreat. Thanks to all the super Staff and a fantastic Manager .All do their best to make that stay a unforgettable one. The rooms super comfortable and some with small extra sittingroom.Suoer interior decorated and sets you in mood of the past olden times..if one likes it for a change to get away from the hectic world.
