MPT Malwa Resort, Mandu

Avons connu cet hotel il y a quinze ans, il n a pas évolué. N ayant pas de choix à Mandu nous y sommes retournés. Bungalows sans confort, par contre nous avions une très belle vue sur la vallée. Sanitaires pratiquement hors d usage, obligation de mettre un seau sous le lavabo car le tuyau d évacuation fuyait. Un coup de peinture récent n a pas réussi à chasser la poussière. Bonne restauration pour le diner mais le petit déjeuner est réduit au minimum. Attention à la réservation : nous avions réservé au Malwa retreats mais en arrivant nous avons été envoyés au Malwa resorts. Le village et les différents monuments sont accessibles à pied, sauf le Rupmati. La wifi ne marche qu à la réception.

nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans ce resort:la chambre est ici un demi-bungalow assez vaste,la propreté des draps était approximative et la douche impossible à régler.La nourriture est assez mauvaise;par contre le cadre est très agréable devant un petit lac,dans un grand parc et à la sortie du resort,il y a à deux pas deux ensembles de monuments très intéressants (l'un à gauche,l'autre à droite)

Le cadre de l’hôtel pourrait être très bien si un GROS effort était fait au niveau de l’entretien et de la propreté (en particulier dans les salles de bain!) Les cartes bar et menus sont prometteurs mais hélas le choix reste très pauvre. L’accueil est globalement peu chaleureux

The location of the resort is very good. the rooms are spacious. The food is good and well-served. The dining staff is very co-operative and responds to individual needs. Unfortunately, the various fixtures in the rooms are poor quality leading to a bad taste. the room locks, the bathroom fixtures like the mixers, the flush etc need to be of a better quality. The typical 'government-run touch' peeps in.

The Malwa Resort run by MPT is a lovely place located outside the busy township. The rooms are quite spacious, clean sheets and towels, comfortable bed and a walkin closet. The staff were very polite and helpful. The morning Buffet breakfast had enough spread to take care of local cuisine and continental. The Washroom was a bit of a disappointment. The common fitting for head shower, bucket and hand shower were internally leaking leading to unintended fun of selecting any function and getting drenched by head shower. The dry commode area and wet bath area are not segregated. So once the first person takes bath, the second has to walk on a wet floor. They provided a full range of toiletieries , which are replenished every day. You get a nice lake view through the room window.

Located on the bank of a lake this sprawling property will give you a five star feeling. Surrounded by a lot of greenery the resort is very well maintained. All the tourist attractions of Mandu are easily reachable from the resort. The staff is very well trained and friendly. Their restaurant also serves delicious dishes. Overall we had a wonderful time in MP Malwa.
