Stayed for a couple of nights at Gran Hotel Zurbaran in Badajoz, and thouroughly enjoyed it. From the higher floors there is a beautiful view over the Guadiana river (if the room is facing the back of the hotel). Very central, is ideal to explore the old town or to walk along the pleaseant river banks or across over the bridges. Parking can be a headhake, although free (there is parking inside the hotel at €12,50/day. The staff is very kind and accomodating, always ready to help. It’s a reasonable 4* hotel, but it is starting to need little bits of renovation. Spacious room and comfortable bed. If you book well in advance you might get a better price. Little discount if you become a (free) member of Sercotel. Great stay. Recommend the hotel. Will go back again.

This is a wonderful hotel in an interesting town with lots to see and do. The staff are very professional and welcoming and the hotel is beautifully clean with everything you could need. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and pillows. There is a lovely little pool area to relax in when the weather is hot. The breakfast is very good and there is secure underground parking at a reasonable price. This was our second stay as we wanted to return with friends.

Es una buena opción si quieres un hotel fuera del centro histórico. Tiene gimnasio y baño turco. Algo pobre el desayuno comparado con otros hoteles de su categoría. Nos sorprendió que nos dijeron que no había huevos por política de empresa.

I staid here 10 years ago and while the decor hasn’t changed much, nor has the excellent service The rooms are a little tired but the beds are luxurious there’s a fridge in each room and bottles of water were topped up each day.

Muito boa experiencia. Excelente Espaço muito acolhedor; sem barulho, mesmo para descansar; excelente pequeno almoço em variedade qualidade. Boa Piscina poderia também encerrar às 21h Maior sugestão de melhoria, apenas melhorar a comida do restaurante em sabor (parece comida para doentes)

La verdad que el hotel muy bien, casi todos los días nos limpiaban la habitación, nos daban toallas para todo, secador, almohadas …todo muy bien y el personal muy majo También disponíamos de un comedor conjunto, con microondas, horno…para hacer cosas La habitación amplia, con baño, pequeña nevera, mesa y silla y televisión…todo muy bien y muy bien situado en la zona Por agradecimiento les dimos unas pasta y una nota por el buen trato y precio. Sin duda cuando vuelva a ir por Badajoz, elegiría otra vez este hotel
