Camping Onlycamp le Sabot

Onlycamp des véritables escrocs qui ne remboursent même pas leur clients en cas de gros orages ! De plus impossible d’avoir un responsable que ce soit par mail ou par téléphone … quel dom,âge pour les familles modestes de perdre de l’argent ainsi. À fuir absolument

Die sanitäreinrichtung ist verdreckt, keine regelmäßige Reinigung, Mülleimer nicht geleert, Duschanfluss verstopft oder verschmutzt, Wasser sehr kalt, keine abgeschlossenen Bereich , keine Türen zum verschließen, Spülbecken werden nicht gereinigt, Eingangstreppe zum sanitärbereich mit vogelkod verdreckt, wir waren 3tage mit dem Rad Vorort. Der Boden ist ziemlich weich und lehmig sodass die Wohnmobile wie auf einem Parkplatz auf dem Weg parkten. Der Platz ist sehr ruhig , keine Frösche zu hören war das positive. Man fragt sich nach welchen Kriterien ein 3 Sterne Platz bewertet wird. Der Platz ist eine Zumutung für den Ort

30 aout 2023 ,il pleut, arrivée en fin de matinée ,accueil peu chaleureux,mettez vous où vous voulez , pour 30 euros les emplacements sont petits mais le cadre sympa , la piscine voisine est fermée et en travaux bruits de moteurs , plus tard une odeur d'égout se fait "sentir": pendant une heure un camion de vidange pompe et empeste , heuresement le solieil arrive en fin de journée ,pour info il y a une aire de camping car avec électricité juste à coté pour 12 euros

Toilettes à rénover rapidement et à nettoyer, tarif prohibitif,je ne conseil pas ce camping ,sauf pour son emplacement en ville et pret du chateau, à éviter si possible, ce n est pas très propre, Mérite 2 étoiles ou 1 même

This is our first visit to Camping Le Sabot. On arrival I was given a key fob to get into the site and was told to find our own pitch, which we prefer so that was positive. Nothing however was explained about what to do with the key fob when leaving or what time we were to leave. There was also no map given of the site. The pitches could be better maintained as it looked like they hadn't been mown for a while but we have a carpet so we just used that. The pitches by the river were mostly taken up by glamping tents. There was an area adjacent to these for campervans, which was blocked off, and we were told not to park there because it was muddy. The toilet block was very dated, the showers, or certainly the one I used , lasted for 3 seconds so I had to continuously press it. There were no hooks provided to hang your towel, just a small shelf. On the upside it was powerful and hot. I didn't use the toilets as we have one on board but other reviews have not been very positive! To end on a positive note, Azay itself is beautiful, there are plenty of shops, cafes and eateries and the chateau looked amazing (we didnt get chance to look around it this time). We probably would return to this site, as we want to look around the chateau and there are also some caves to visit too.

We have been coming to this site for over 30 years. The site itself is lovely on the banks of the Indre and a short walk into Azay which has great food shops and restaurants to suit most budgets. The downside of the site is the toilets and showers which are dilapidated but even worse are filthy, muddy and full of cobwebs and I don’t think they were cleaned even daily. One toilet in the ladies was revolting and was exactly the same over 24 hours later. The toilets opposite reception had no toilet paper for the entire week we were there. Reception hours seemed hit & miss…not open at the times stated on the door and closed more often than open. We started dreading having to use the facilities so may not return.
