We were stranded in Ayr having to park our motorhome due to the rain and flooding . Stayed in this lovely place for 4 nights which was so lovely met such lovely people stranded there too Jay and family are the loveliest people so helpful and kind lovely food at the buffet and Ayr a lovely place . We will never forget our time there travelling from Northern Ireland first time in Australia first time seeing first hand the power of Mother Nature and the wet season at its best !After 4 nights we had to drive back to Brisbane to leave motorhome back sadly didn't make it to Townsville or Cairns due to the weather Thank you Jay and family and lovely folk in Ayr

Our recent experience here was definitely sub par, we are unlikely to ever return, it is quite expensive for comparibly sparse accommodation, there were noisy restaurant guests, loudly swearing motel guests and the smoking area is in a dangerous area next to gas tanks, we got out of here as quickly as possible.

Very friendly check in. However we weren’t given the “free wifi” password when we checked in. Website is totally out of date. Reception was supposed to be open until 9.00pm, but when we went at 8.30 to get the wifi password, everything was in darkness and locked up. Restaurant was closed even though that was the main focus of the current website and still offered the ability to book a table. Don’t get me wrong, the motel was fine. Clean and comfortable, but the website is totally misleading.

Stayed here previously, dissopointed this time, no evening meal even though guest directory said room service meals available, room included tea and coffee making facilities available there was no cup to make coffee or tea in, there was a microwave but no utensils for eating the food heated, dissopointing

Great rooms - terrific walk in shower - aircon was great - didn’t hear any road noise - absolutely delightful girl checked us in - easy parking right outside the room - walking distance to Ayr Chinese restaurant and Burdekin theatre
