If you are looking for a friendly welcome and good food and drink you cannot go far wrong here. Such a charming place to stay. Really relaxing and super friendly. The rooms have everything that you need. WiFi is a little bit of an issue in the area but if that doesn’t worry you it isn’t a problem. They more than make up for this with everything else. Dogs are welcomed and add to the relaxed nature of the place. I big thank you to Phil behind the bar for welcoming me and looking after my needs.

What a great pub - great service with a cracking assortment of drinks available, food was well presented and tasted amazing - best pie I have ever had. Puddings were plentiful and then we were able to stay - lovely room sensibly priced with all amenities you need and then a great freshly cooked breakfast the next morning - beats trying to get a taxi just book stay and unwind with friendly staff

We booked a couple of family days out in the area so needed somewhere to stay overnight. So glad we found The Farmers Boy Inn. Perfect for a family with 2 little children. Clean, fresh and a good night's sleep. Great value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here overnight in our motor home. Phil, the owner was so welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, so good that we actually had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, the pie was definitely award winning. The staff were really friendly, the pub was very clean. Phil recommended we take a walk up May Hill this was a great walk with views over 7 counties at the top, well worth the hike, thank you so much Phil and all your staff for making our stay so lovely.

Absolutely fantastic! I was a little worried because the price was so reasonable, but the rooms were lovely: bed was comfortable, plenty of towels and hot water, and gleamingly clean. The staff are delightful - can't do enough for you, helpful and kind without being intrusive. The pub was lively on a Monday evening, with several booked for dinner -but service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious. The menu is local, and meals are made in the pub kitchen - and it was fabulous. I'm hoping to return for a holiday in the area in future - this will be my first choice. Thanks so much to all excellent team.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the room was comfortable and very quiet, considering how close to the A40 it is. The staff were wonderful and the meal was excellent. The Breakfast Pie was exceptional and the bar is full of atmosphere. We hope to return next time we're walking in the area.
