It is a beautiful and romantic place with an awesome swimming pool.wake up with the birds singing is very magic.you can enjoy the beauty of the nature .Sigirya is near by and safari as well.Thank you very much

L'hôtel est tres propre, le personnel est adorable, merci a nos hôtes pour leur accueil, il sont vraiment adorables et au petit soins avec la clientèle et toujours avec le sourire. En ce qui concerne les repas a l'assiette ou au buffet, c'est top, lorsque nous avons été servi a l'assiette, le repas était complet au point que je n'ai même pas pu finir le plat. Pour ce qui est des équipements, la piscine est grande et nickel, les chambres sont propres, petites décos serviette et fleur sur le lit, grande sdb avec douche et bain , climatisation dans la chambre. Vous serez a proximité de nombreux sites pour vos visites du secteur.

Hôtel bien situé pour visiter le rocher du lion. Nous y avons passé une nuit. Un verre de jus de fruit nous a été proposé dès notre arrivée Les point forts de cet hôtel l'emplacement au calme un vrai havre de paix,la qualité du personnel accueillant, serviable et l'immense piscine!! Notre chambres se trouvait dans un petite maison composée de 4 appartements ,2 au rez-de-chaussée et 2 à l'étage. La maison était immergée dans un parc arboré avec une ambiance animalière, cris des paons et d'autres espèces,extra!! La chambre était propre mais la literie pas confortable et la salle de bain entièrement vétuste !! Le restaurant n'est pas confortable,mal insonorisé, les voix résonnent dû à la hauteur du plafond surtout quand il y a des groupes de touristes et que les climatiseurs alignés en hauteur fonctionnent .Sentiment de réfectoire de cantine plus que de salle de restaurant. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner n'etaient absolument pas exceptionnels le pain n'était pas frais et les plats sans intérêts. La piscine est bien entretenue avec une eau très chaude . Elle est surveillée par une personne qui s'occupe aussi de donner les serviettes. Manque peut être de végétation fleurie tout autour pour avoir une ambiance plus exotique et colorée. Elle est très appréciable après une longue journée d'excursions.

Tres bien situé pour aller sur Lion Rock. On y a passé 3 nuits...Personnel adorable d une grande gentillesse et aux petits soins! Un cadre superbe avec un point fort: leur piscine ou plutôt un gigantesque bassin!! Magnifique et très bien entretenu!! Serviettes à disposition et une eau chaude incroyable, Surprenant et selon nous pas assez valorisé par l hôtel ! On y croise aussi des petits singes curieux et des ecureuils furtifs! On a adoré ! Seul bémol : litterie à changer! Mais les chambres dans ces bungalows disséminés dans ce parc sont vastes...juste besoin d un coup de rafraîchissement... Un hôtel atypique authentique et sympathique.

Room very cmfortable housekeeping by Hashan great.Food tasty and to suit all tastes .pool large clean andcool with attentive staff.We stayed at this hotel 2 nights while ontour.Allstaff very polite aand friendly.Enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay for 2 nights here. Our driver booked the hotel for us so we didn’t really know what to expect but when we arrived we had a really nice surprise in our room since we are on our honeymoon. Ashen and the other personnel provided us a great service and the hotel had everything we needed. Thank you Elephant Lake Hotel!

Schönes Hotel während Rundreise. Frühstück und Abendessen war recht gut; Personal war sehr freundlich, schöne Poolanlage. Zimmer war in Ordnung. günstiger Preis - in Nähe von Sigiriya Nachteil: Nur 1 Handtuch pro Person, kein Zimmerservice bei 2 Nächte

First of all need to say that we had a mixed experience, and we believe that the negatives I have mentioned here might be specific to us only and hope the others would not have experienced the same, while I think the positives are quite general for a common guest. We stayed two nights. Positives - The staff is extremely friendly and to be franked I haven't seen such friendliness in anywhere else I have travelled. (Special mentioning of Hiruni at the reception/Keerthi at the pool, Ranga who was the porter and Ruchira/Danuka/Dinuka who were stewards at the restaurant. - Food was OK. (expected for the rates they offered) - Rooms were very spacious. - Location is convenient (on the main road itself) - Very nice pool with depth ranging from 2 ft to 6 ft - Very good water pressure in the shower Negatives - The bathtub at the room was not operating (it would have been great at least to keep us informed when we checked in) - There were neither safety box nor a minibar (no refrigerator even) though they have mentioned this as basics under Deluxe category. Again, we were OK if this was mentioned to us at the reception. - Bit of a disturbance to the privacy as the rooms are very closely located Suggest having a second curtain (thin) behind the main curtain at the front side window as we felt difficult to keep the thick curtains open. Overall, it was a pretty good property which I can recommend as a best option for the rates they charge.

Had a great stay here. Lush green place, very nice rooms, excellent breakfast, great service and polite staff. Close to Sigiriya Rock (8 km) and since we had a car with driver, distances were not an issue. Minneriya wildlife national park is also close by. Recommended
