This cozy and romantic remodeled cottage is available year round. It is located in the desirable Land Harbor community in Linville, NC and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. It is perfect for either a couple, small family or a solo traveler. As our guests, you will be able to enjoy all that our community has to offer including an 18-hole golf course (fees apply), swimming, fishing, tennis courts, shuffleboard and more! The community is also great for walking. Or, if you prefer, you can just sit on the deck or in front of the fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine or a good book. Our home is the perfect getaway for small families and couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy the peacefulness of the NC mountains and experience what laid-back mountain living means.It features two bedrooms - one boasts of a comfortable queen-sized bed and the other features a bunk bed that is perfect for children or additional guests. A pack-and-play is also available upon request. The two bathrooms (1 full and 1 half) are fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, including fresh towels and toiletries. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the area. It has a comfortable couch and a lounge chair, a flat-screen TV and a cozy fireplace perfect for colder nights. The lounge chair converts into a bed for extra sleeping or lounging. There are two window AC units in the living room, two portable stand fans in each room and ceiling fans in every room to keep you cool in the summer months. The elevation at Lindville Land Harbor is 3600 feet so it is always cool. Opening the windows will let in a nice fresh breeze. For the colder months, we have baseboard heating, heaters in each room and a gas fireplace in the living room to keep you warm and toasty. We also added outdoor heaters on the back deck for warmth so you can enjoy fresh air in the winter months.Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals including a stove, refrigerator, microwave, countertop dishwasher, toaster, blender, crock-pot, George Foreman Grill, popcorn machine and a Keurig coffee machine.Outside, you will find a lovely deck area with a comfortable sectional, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the birds or having a relaxing evening meal and enjoying a glass of wine. You can also grill on the deck (bring your own coal). Our log cabin is modern, warm and cozy, has a wrap around porch on the first floor with a hanging bed, lounge chairs and a BBQ grill + a second floor deck with porch swings and a table for two that makes you feel as if you are at eye-level with Grandfather Mountain! There are two Great Rooms with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, enjoy the views, watch TV or find a quiet place to call your own. The upstairs Great Room has a trundle bed (two single beds) and a couch with two reclining sections. The kitchen has all the major appliances and dining areas that can seat up to 10 (if you like to bake, you need to factor in the elevation!). Each bedroom has its own private, full bathroom + there's a half bath close to the kitchen. Each floor has its own washer and drier.
