聖庭苑飯店(El Terado Terrace)

This place is not bad, and may even stay here in the future. The main cleanliness issue relates to the ceiling in 102. The roof is visibly bubbling and orange goo was falling on the floor in the middle of the room. We just made a conscious point to not step on it. When we woke up the pile of goop had grown much more. The bathroom mirror was broken, and some mold was present, but not concerning amount... It's the small amount we all struggle with in home in southern California bathrooms. The bed was clean and comfortable. I would recommend the place if you're looking to save some money.

Hice mi reservacion para 4 noches y 5 dias termine kedandome 3 noches y 4 dias. Keria mas sabanas y nunca me las llevaron. El recepcionista nunca estaba en la ventana. No me hicieron la cana ni un dia yo la hacia ya cuando llegaba de lo k andaba haciendo. La cafetera nunca la lavaron. Yo la tuve k lavar. Solo me cambiaban las toallas y basura.

Would suggest different hotel for the cost. We got 2 rooms but 1 room had gas leak and no smoke detector. Instead of changing our room they maintenance guy just said air it out but yet left his cigarette next to stove. Their was water damage on ceiling and room had a lot of spiders and mosquitoes in the room. The 2nd room had air vent/fan did not work. We told front desk and said someone was going to fix it but never did. When I let the front desk know at check out he just said.. "ok, not sure what you want me to say". I let him know that way its fixed for the next guest. But just felt blown off. Bathroom mirror in front of sink was cracked.

The two double bed room that we had had broken screens on both windows, worn/holes in the carpet, holes in the bathroom floor, huge dent in the bathroom wall, paint peeling off in the bathroom and kitchen, shower door paint faded, shower hot and cold water mislabeled and on the wrong sides, never saw a worker until checkout time, ceiling fan wouldn’t go above a very low speed, deck area paint was peeling… We were very disappointed, for the high price that we paid, with the sad state of disrepair that the hotel was in. It seemed more like what one would get from a low quality motel than a hotel on Catalina. 😒

Front desk is rarely staffed. When we arrived the front desk window was opened and there were about 6 card keys on the transaction desk. One of them had my name on it, so I assumed that we were just supposed to take the card keys and head to our room. About halfway to our room we heard someone yelling. It was the front desk employee yelling at us that our room was not ready, and that we should not have just grabbed our key and left like that. He offered to hold our luggage in the office and indicated that he would put the luggage in our room, and call me when the room was ready. We never received a call so we just walked back to the hotel around 3:00, which was 1 hour after check-in. Our room was ready, but our luggage was still inside the office and nobody was around. After shouting "hello" a bunch of times I finally had to take it upon myself to slide the transaction window open, hop the desk and get our luggage out of the office. The hotel had a 4-door Jeep with their logo on it parked out front. We assumed that it was a guest shuttle. We managed to catch the front desk manager in the office on our 2nd day and asked about the shuttle. He rudely said "what shuttle?". I said "the one right there, with the hotel logo on it". He said that's not a shuttle, just for the hotel staff to drive around the island. This hotel is WAY up the hill. Why not use this Jeep as a shuttle for guests?

Location is great, it’s a up hill walk but it’s not bad. The room was spacious, kitchen fully equipped. I honestly didn’t expect much because most reviews weren’t great but it was actually very nice.

Relatively inexpensive, clean, quiet but three long blocks up hill from the beach, working to upgrade but no construction noise. Staff person nice when tueee but did not returned multiple phone calls to answer questions

I had pretty low expectations based on some other reviews but this place is one of the nastiest places I've ever stayed. The showers had so much mold (and leaking faucets during a major drought) that I wore my flipflops. There were hairballs on the floors in the bathroom when we arrived as well as small hairs from aan shaving on the counter. The carpet is so dirty I never took my shoes off. I live in a rural area and am not a germaphope, this place is GROSS! I tried to go elsewhere but being nye there weren't any options. The smoke detectors were all removed. The door to the bedroom had been kicked in and the door jam destroyed. I could go on and on. The stains on the curtains left me wondering what on earth had happened here. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The property was very nice and clean. We had a ocean view so it was definitely a great view. Definitely would come back and the Manager pretty cool guy.
