The outlook is beautiful, the room was lovely and clean. However, unfortunately we got the room next to the kitchen and it was very noisy, not well insulated at all. The kitchen is fantastic and very well equipped. The guy who booked us in was lovely. The only issue we had was that the owner charges 4% surcharge for using a card to pay which is a total rip off, especially when the payment is processed on line by them. The banks do not charge 4%.
There are plenty of places to chose from and I recommend you pick somewhere else. The reviews were good for this hotel when I made the booking, the current feedback reflects a decline in the standards and services. Communication was difficult, there are no written instructions in the room in regard to rubbish removal or services. They double booked our room on the first night so first night in a smaller room, compensated with 1 night valet parking which was so slow we collected the car ourselves, they forgot to give us the card to get out of the car park. In the second room the floor was sticky, the fridge froze the contents, there was no plug for the sink or washing up liquid. Minimal dishes and cutlery. No shampoo or body wash just empty containers attached to the walls in the bathroom. Stained sofa. The TV system kept welcoming us as the previous occupants. There is a hot tub with cloudy water and 3 old machines in the ‘gym’. There is a view of the city, a washing machine and clean sheets. The wifi was good. The Pullman next door looked nice.
