金普頓希爾萬飯店(Kimpton Sylvan Hotel)

The front desk superviser (I think her name was Vee) and Alexis were wonderful, The blind date with a book was such a fun and awesome idea! The pool was beautiful, and the hotel itself had a lot of character. Great walking distance to Buckhead village, would definitely stay here again~

It was sub-par. Its definitely not a 4 star hotel and ive been to many. The AC wasn't cool in the room. I slept so uncomfortable. Trying to call downstairs to get your car is null. The line is always busy. Then inhaling smoke while waiting for your car right at the front with a bunch of random people just sitting around. One and done.

I have been looking for a new loyalty hotel program as I travel for business every week and was so excited about a great stay with kimpton in Sacramento a couple weeks ago. The Atlanta hotel is beautiful, but when I went to my room, I discovered they had a huge band right outside the window. The bar in the lobby is so loud that until 11 PM you can expect incredibly loud music in every hotel room at the location. We tried multiple rooms but the music was so loud that I finally had to ask for a cancellation. They’re all were many many others calling downstairs about the loud noise… I was really surprised they didn’t turn down the music from the band, singer or the bar given all the complaints. I recorded a video that I wanted to send a Kimpton so you could see the level of noise I am talking about… Not a slight noise I am talking equivalent to turn in your TV to the highest possible volume on an ongoing basis. I couldn’t even have a conversation in my room because it was so loud. The other person couldn’t hear me. A hotel that has rooms should not cater to bands and bars… But to their guess who are paying for the rooms. The ladies at the front were absolutely fantastic and had great customer service! They were both wonderful and tried everything they could. They were nice enough to process a refund for me so I can go get another hotel to sleep and work tonight.

I stayed at the Sylvan for 2 nights on memorial day weekend. I was taking a nap on that Saturday midday approximately 2pm. One of the valet personnel entered my room without a knock. I was startled. He kept apologizing and ran off. I was so tired from walking the belt line. I couldn’t think of what to do next. I didn’t say anything to anyone except to my friend who was not with me at that moment. She suggested I report the young man because it was weird that a valet person would have a key card to a room. Still in my mind it was a simple mistake. Well I finally unpacked and noticed my iPad was not there. I don’t care about the iPad as much as the contents that is on it. I disconnected from the cloud during the pandemic. So I am missing something very valuable. I have never stayed at a hotel where I need to worry about my belongings before. My stay was not horrible until one of your employees decided to make it that way. Why? I just learned how to use find my iPad. So now I’m waiting to see where it pops up

The staff was very rude. The AC was broken. I waited hours for someone to fix it. The TV was broken. The carpet was dirty. It smelled. The food was expensive.

Front desk staff very efficient. However, rest of hotel seemed understaffed. Could not find bartender first try at in hotel bar. Second trip to bar waited 20 minutes to order a drink.

The room was a real disappointment! Very small and bland! The shades in the room did not work! Trying to get a coffee maker and coffee was a total challenge! The door to our room was very difficult to open from the inside which made me very nervous! I was never able to open it! Will not return!

3 people at the front desk hanging out when we arrived, they allowed a line to build up before saying “oh is anyone helping you?” The room was missing many typical things - no remote, no glasses or wine key, when asked they didn’t provide. Front desk seemed to lack care for guests needs. Bellman handed us a cart but didn’t help and it was covered in pet hair. The Kimpton vibe is usually amazing and this was just bleh. If the staff was more focused on delivering good service to guests, it would be a good spot but I’d recommend another place until they improve. Decor nice, beds comfy, quiet in the evening but the service just ruined it.

The decor was beautiful and each facility clean. The staff was amazing! They were friendly and constantly checking up on me by asking if I needed anything.
