I really hope someone reads this. I booked 2 nights at AC Midtown and then extended for another night. The first 2 nights we were in a room for those with disabilities. I really did NOT like that room. It felt like a cave and I was very suspicious of the bedding smells (pillows) and the bathroom cleanliness. Never felt at ease with the level of cleanliness. On the third night, we asked to be moved to another room and were upgraded. Wow, what a difference. After the first 2 nights, I had decided to can 2 future extended stays with your hotel, but after the change in rooms, I will more than likely return not only with husband, but also with my in-laws and parents. The room was cozier and much cleaner. BUT!!!! and this is a BIG BUT!!!! The garage is not connected to the hotel and when we attempted to leave at 6 am in the morning, after checking out and PAYING for parking, we realized we did not have our parking tickets. It took a very long time for an attendant to respond to our calls at the ticket gate in the garage and the security guard - who was standing right there- refused to even acknowledge us when we asked him for assistance. The GOOD thing i s that the attendant allowed us to leave without paying AGAIN for 3 days of parking and only charged us $60 for one day. NOTE - this was extra money for parking we had already paid, but the hotel has nothing to do with the garage and could not help us. This part is important - The garage gas a system where after the
