InterContinental Hotels 巴克海特亞特蘭大(InterContinental Hotels Buckhead Atlanta)

The stay was beautiful when we first arrived. Everything was absolutely stunning from the scenery down to the room however, I'm afraid to say I'm very upset about our stay. On 8/20/2022 around 10pm we just got back from a celebration and we called the front desk for towels. I was told by a African American woman working the front desk they'd bring some up. 30 minutes later I called back just to make sure they got the correct room and that's when the young lady got an attitude, snapped at me and stated they were on their way. They never came. We received no clean towels for the 2nd night of our stay. I paid a good amount to stay here for a birthday celebration and unfortunately I was treated like I didn't matter.

4 people staying in room. The 2 beds were not much bigger than a twin. We were not told the hotel was under renovation. Very few people staying there Parking garage was empty yet they said they couldn’t change our room to at least 2 queen sized beds. Paid $350 plus $40 parking.

This hotel is not functional during its renovations!!!!..it should not be open and Hotels should not associate itself with it during this work.

Everything about the hotel was phenomenal with the exception of the bartender that “took care” of me on Christmas Day at The Americano. The hotel offered a voucher which I went to go use. I’ve been bartending for close to nine years now and I was simply asking Trey the bartender questions to get a feel of what cocktail he could make since I understand that not every bar is fully stocked. I then proceeded to ask him questions about the menu, because I was curious to know what meats and cheeses were on the charcuterie board and he told me that I was being difficult. After he was annoyed with our interaction, he then proceeded to ignore me at the bar. I waited 32 minutes after asking him for my check before he actually got back to me. A woman even came in bought a cocktail and cashed out during those 32 minutes. I sat patiently, and in silence, observing him, and it took my guy friend to catch his attention and remind him about my check even then, when asked for the second time, he told us “one second.” Another thing I observed in those 32 minutes while waiting for my check was that the entire bar got a brand new round of drinks and he himself also had been drinking, ignoring his closing duties. He accidentally broke glass behind the bar and didn’t cater to cleaning it up. His bus tubs were overflowing. Anyways, I digress. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel however, if the Americano is an extension of the hotel. That bartender left a negative taste in my experience.

I love this property - I stay here all the time - it is beautiful and most of the staff is extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. However, on this trip, I had an awful experience. Main two issues: 1) the shower pressure was low. Not a huge deal but makes the shower less enjoyable. 2) On Sunday, I called Laundry and requested same day service because I am on a business trip and needed my blazers and a shirt cleaned for upcoming board meetings this week. I was told no problem, they will pick them up and handle right away. After returning to my room, i was surprised they weren't returned but assumed they would show up the next morning before I checked out. But the next morning I call and find out "we don't do laundry on Sunday" and -- even though I was checking out that morning -- my clothes had been shipped off. Obviously that doesn't work and was a mistake -- why ship my clothing out knowing I am checking out that same day????? The gentleman told me they can ship the clothes to me -- but I needed those clothes for my Board meetings this week so I'm stuck without suitable clothing. The gentleman was kind enough so I asked if they can retrieve the clothes sooner. Then a lady from the front desk calls me and in a condescending tone BLAMES ME for sending tthem clothes on a Sunday... this was VERY upsetting and when I said are you kidding me she hung up on me.

While we didn’t use the amenities to the fullest, the club lounge was definitely a nice bonus. Very clean, easy parking. For those with electric cars, the charging stations were never completely full.

This place was terrible. No water, no room service after certain hours, no vending. Overpriced room was all you get, literally nothing else. Definitely won’t be staying here again or recommending anyone stay here.

I didn't appreciate the lack of notice about an Indian ceremonial wedding going on at the same time as my stay. Although it was relly cool to see at times i was woken up at the crack of dawn by drumming and the crowds of people that flooded the common areas of the hotel was a little much. I would have stayed elsewhere had i known. The pool does not have a bar it is 2 guys selling canned beverages unattatched to the hotel

I loved this property and my family had a fun and comfortable stay. Everyone was kind and polite, and went above and beyond. We did have limited access to the outdoor gardens for three days because of an event, which ended up being a bit of a bummer because I ended up having to walk my dog out by the parking garage entrance, so I do wish they had alternate outdoor spaces. On the final day when I was able to access the gardens it was understandably pretty filthy in the perimeter, but I wouldn’t base your decision to stay here on that one off instance. Overall very clean and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again!
