Had a lovely stay in the radisson athlone 9 year old loved the swimming pool the hotel offered a kids club which my daughter attended 2 nights and enjoyed herself will definitely stay here again

Great hotel only downside you have to pay for parking very expensive

A very conveniently situated hotel. Its modern and well maintained. However out side at present there are building works going on which created considerable nose in the mornings. The river view is lovely. We were upgraded to a suite since we we given the key to a room already occupied. It was very comfortable, the bed was lovely and the breakfast food was good and varied

Overall, the room looks nice and is spacious. The bed was comfortable and TV channel selection was adequate. The shower pressure was pretty lacking. The sink didn't drain very well and nothing I did could open up the drain better. The hair dryer kept cutting out so much that I just couldn't use it. The location is great and parking included was nice, however, when you walk into the hotel, you'd expect it to be a higher class hotel with better conditions than what I experienced above. It worked for one night passing through.

Restaurant service a complete nightmare; no AC, no frig in room and no ice machine for guests. Was charged twice for the room, Not happy and won’t stay there again. Pillows way for soft/flat. Will say the leg of lamb was a good meal but there are several good restaurants in walking distance to go eat. vending machine took my £’s and had to tell the desk 3 times about it never got reported by the staff.

This was probably the most disappointing stay and bad experience I have ever had in a hotel. We had a group of 11, with 5 rooms booked, only one room was ready for cehckin by 4pm, we had to queue for over 20mins more than once to check on the status of our room, by 5:30pm some of out party were still not checked. I complained to the manager at the time as we were paying for rooms we could not access and had small kids with us. The manager said he will look into it and get back to me, but never did. When I eventually did get my room, I ended up with a twin room when I had booked a kig. We picked this hotel specifically as it had a pool for the kids to enjoy, imagine there disappointment when the pool was closed for the whole day on our last day, and when it was opened there was no towels available and we were told to go back to our rooms to get them.
