We held a conference at Lukenya Getaway for 75(ish) people from across the horn of Africa, North America and the UK. Having worked in hotels myself for 10+ years, I was blown away by the service we received. Rooms were spotless. Common areas were spotless (they even cleaned walkways and the pool deck daily - with soap!). Food was plentiful and delicious (the dinner rolls that were at the soup tables each night quickly became a favourite). Service was a solid 10 out of 10 in every area (front of house, housekeeping, F&B etc). I will absolutely recommend Lukenya Getaway to anyone, whether you're planning a conference or just looking for a place to rest and recharge! Shout out to Paul, Edna, James and the rest of the staff for their brilliant customer service! PS as a Canadian, it was a nice bonus to see monkeys and other wildlife wandering around that I don't see at home ever.

The front desk staff is warm, helpful, and too good. However, there are serious challenges in housekeeping and maintenance. The hot water mix in the shower and the wash basin is very unpredictable. One may get a scalding due to the sudden spurt and occasional murky water. The room size is too small for even keeping two bags. The food is okay, except for the buffet, other a-la-carte is a test of your patience. Nice campus and ambiance and lot of options for activities

The natural environment that you are situated is a very brilliant idea. I commend the idea behind creation of the getaway. Your staff could say hi everytime you meet them which is a great gesture. I hope to come back again.

Nice place and amazing experience to be there, hope next time I will visit this place again, there is good place to stay and to enjoy very quiet and amazing to get new experience, the wild animals is superb

We visited this place for a one night stay for 4 adults and asked for adjacent rooms, which they graciously offered us. Check in was a breeze and (I forget his name) was so kind and very inviting. The bedrooms were very clean and spacious, adequately stocked with water, tea, coffee, electric kettle, tv, spacious closet, and a sitting area with comfy chairs. The shower had the best and relaxing hot water, the beds were so comfortable and they each had mosquito nets. We had dinner on our arrival, delicious portions of various Kenyan food, yum! Breakfast was just as scrumptious, with all the staff happy to serve and help. There were other groups of people in the facility for team building meetings but we never felt out of place nor did it feel crowded. The grounds were well kept, clean, spacious, peaceful river nearby, wild animals(gazelles, birds, monkeys) to enjoy, don’t forget the beautiful male ostrich and emus. The pool was inviting but we did not swim due to time constraints. We would definitely come back for a longer stay to enjoy the food, scenery and all round Kenyan hospitality at its finest.

I found it very cool, very organized, very inclusive and it has a highest standards of services. I recommend for retreat activities, conferences, team building and even having fun with friends and families.
