Check in was great, and the location is amazing with a lot of shopping and dining options around. However, had to move to a different room the second night, as my first room woke me up in the middle of the night with water leaking from the ceiling all around the bed. They couldn’t move me that night as the hotel was full and had to sleep on a cot, which was quite uncomfortable. However, they upgraded me the next day to a suite with an amazing view. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms as well.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in Athens for 2 nights before flying out to the islands for the rest of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The location was amazing! Walking distance to pretty much everything you’d want to see! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part was the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. They helped book transportation for us, gave us a ton of restaurant recommendations, and we’re just overall amazing.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. What really sets this hotel apart is the team. They are amazing, so helpful and thoughtful! Would definitely stay at the Emporikon again when in Athens.

This place was reasonably priced and worth every penny! The area is safe and near all the shops and eateries! You are near the Plaka, Little Kook, and all the places you want to be. Easily walkable to the Acropolis we didn’t need a taxi at all here!

Pros: Good location, walking distance to acropolis and shopping center. Safe neighborhood. Balcony has acropolis view. Cons: There’s a restaurant below the hotel that plays loud music till 1am everyday.

There was only drywall on the the shower walls, no tiles! The hand held unit was already detaching from the shower wall. The window trim is in bad need of paint... this place will be a wreck in only a couple of years. The location is 2nd to none, but you pay for it with the noice at night. Earplugs are required.

The ceiling was a bit low - in my bed area. Should give advance warning. I'm only 5'6" and for someone taller might feel claustrophobic.

Great staff. They care to make the stay easy. Organized and efficient team. We needed some ice and I happen to mention someone overheating, they brought it with additional compress to help. The hotel feels like a home ( an apar**ent in a building), lots of restaurants downstairs, walking distance to the museum and acropolis, plaka, shopping. Very nice cool design and clean place, central location.excellent staff. Thank you.

Great old hotel in the middle of Athens. Great location to site see. Hotel is old and traditional European. It has its quarks. But location is great and staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious.
