Beautifully appointed hotel with a historical twist. I loved the original slate floors on the stairs and the nod to the 1920s. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in!!!

The Bell Hotel is truly the Bell of the Ball in Athens! It is a beautiful and historic hotel, but also has the best, modern amenities that I have ever experienced in a hotel. The hairdryer was a game changer, and the bed was like a pillow of fancy linens that I sunk into each night. The coffee was so delicious and I loved having a glass of wine on the gorgeous rooftop to end my night. They have thought of every possible detail to make your stay just perfect. Each room is unique, with its own personality and decor, and I hope to get to stay in them all!

The Bell is a one-of-a-kind experience regardless of the room selected for you. It takes a minute to understand KASA (booking system, for the older generation) and trust it. The Bell was warm, welcoming, inviting, comfortable, and situated right downtown! The attention to detail will most likely not be found at higher-end hotels or boutique hotels. The molding, bedding, pillows, coffee, and all the amenities are too many to mention. We stayed in a 1st floor room our first night and were overwhelmed with how quaint and nice the on-site staff were to us. Happy hour drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and other beverages in the lobby. This isn't your ordinary lobby, but it is more like a quaint tavern with an upscale touch that makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this to any and all who want to stay in Athens and enjoy the comforts of home, a very nice home too!

The Bell Athens is in a perfect location in downtown Athens, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms are impeccably decorated and very comfortable. Each room is decorated differently which adds to the charm of the space. The beds and pillows are luxurious. There is a cute lounge/bar area where you could gather with friends or get some work done. The rooftop is another great gathering area with covered and outdoor seating, and a tv. I had a fabulous stay and will definitely return!
