Grabbing a drink at the Dutch Bros Coffee Co. across the street or making yourself a hot one in the kitchen is the best way to enjoy the views of passing barges and the goings-on of urban-industrial Uniontown Astoria. Pets, friends and family are welcome here, although we ask that furry friends are kept OFF the beds and couches, as it is difficult to de-hair the furnishings! We're excited to share our love of the ruggedly beautiful Oregon coast with you!The spaceOur home consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and laundry room. Although the house is quite warm and comfy when the heater is on, the floors do get cold in low temperatures. We recommend packing thick socks or slippers to get the most out of your rustic Astoria experience. We can accommodate two dogs, with dog bed and blankets provided. We can also accommodate up to 8 humans, although space would be limited and to be the most comfortable, we recommend staying here only with 6 or less guests in total. Please note that our proximity to the 101 means that noise from cars can be heard inside the unit!Guest accessThe kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room are all yours. There is a backyard (shared with the upstairs unit) that your pet can use, but you'll need to monitor them while they're back there as it is unfenced.Other things to noteThere is no a/c .The Boat View house is on the main road, so please expect loud rush hour (4-7pm) and morning rush (7-9am) noise from cars.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.
The Uniontown Boat View Loft is an upstairs apartment situated directly beside the Oregon coastal highway 101 as it runs through Astoria, giving it an urban-industrial vibe, and close access to bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and the piers. The windows look over the 101, nearby businesses, the Astoria-Megler bridge, and the Columbia River, where barges pass regularly. The spaceThe space is comprised of a fully stocked kitchen, living room, bathroom, two king-sized bedrooms, and laundry room, which also contains an extra sleeper futon for larger groups. The back door leads to a small deck, with rear-stairwell leading out into a quiet, shared back yard space. Pets are welcome.Guest accessTwo off-street parking spots are provided for your use. While it is possible to access downtown on foot, we recommend guests headed downtown to get there via car, as it is a longer (approx 30 min) walk. Many options for shops, restaurants, gas, and nearby services lie within 10 minutes driving distance.Other things to noteThere is no a/c.The Boat View house is on the main road, so please expect loud rush hour (4-7pm) and morning rush (7-9am) noise from cars. The windows of the living room are older and do not provide the same clear visibility that they used to.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.
