Really nice hotel. Have stayed a couple times and have had no problems

The only thing positive I have to say about this property is that the skeleton front desk staff were very nice. Corporate Hilton has obviously not spent a dime on this property in quite awhile. I am a 70 YO woman traveling alone with 2 cats. There were no luggage carts available for the two days I was here, so I had to carry my numerous pieces of luggage up to my room one by one with no help. The front desk staff told me the luggage carts had disappeared, probably into someone’s room, and they had no idea where they were. The swimming pool was closed with no projected opening date due to an unresolved “chemical imbalance.” The water was shut off during part of one day while I was here. The bathroom sink faucet belched blasts of air intermittently. This area endured a huge snow and ice storm a little over a week ago. The roads are mostly clear now, but the parking lot at the hotel had obviously been untouched. Not scraped. Not salted. No sand applied. It is a solid skating rink of 2 inch ice. Typical prepackaged frozen breakfast items…yuck. I would not stay here again. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for many years, and I’ve never been sorely disappointed with one of their properties until I stayed here. I want to reiterate that the front desk staff was very nice. I got the sense that they were trying to do their best under adverse circumstances. Hilton needs to either take their name off this property or correct the many problems with it.

Always a terrific stay at Hampton Inn! The staff was friendly and helpful at check in and provided some curtesy waters. Our room was spacious and spotless and the bed was fresh and cozy. The shower was hot and the bathroom was loaded with fresh towels and quality soaps. The fitness center had pleanty of options for a great workout and the pool was clean and warm as bathwater. In the morning the had a tremendous continental breakfast and the waffles were delicious!

View nice and clean Hampton Inn in Ashland. I was here for work and enjoyed my stay. Grounds and rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The mini fridge in the room was nice too. Will stay here again for future work trips that I go on to Ashland.

Overall this is a very basic Hampton property. It is located a few miles north of the main highway (I64), which provides some quiet from road noise. It is located in a mixed residential and commercial area with many stores within walking distance (Walmart, fast food, fuel options). The staff were very pleasant (especially during a very late night check-in). The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is standard Hampton fare. Honestly, the hotel met expectations.

This is a VERY tired location..dark,low ceilings, stained carpet and messy outdoors.Our room overlooked the abandoned car wash,I stayed based on the high ratings which are now a total puzzle to me how anyone would give positive reviews. Never again!

The beds were sufficiently comfortable. The hotel was not loud. The breakfast was typical, however the server was so helpful and personable. They had sausage, eggs, bread, waffles, cereals, etc. The price was fair if you use a third party booking agent. There was plenty of parking.

Was in town for a concert and this place served us well. Comfortable bed and the soft indirect lighting above the crown molding provided just enough light to navigate by. Shower was excellent and the breakfast was well organized and had lots of choices. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. Definitely a place to consider when in the area.

The Hampton Inn Ashland accommodated my family for a weekend. They surpassed my expectations in every way. Cleanliness, friendly, and professional is exactly how I would describe the service I received. Highly recommended!

The important things when staying at any hotel, were excellent: Housekeeping, comfortable bed, quiet, friendly, helpful staff. Those things were perfect. Marlene in particular, when I was there, stood out as a nice person. The breakfast was limited. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, but not so much that I couldn't sleep. The pool wasn't available the day I was there in August, but I don't swim anyway, so I didn't care. If the pool is a must for you, then call ahead and ask if it's open. One warning, especially if you arrive at night. Unless they have since repaired the entrance road, there were significantly large potholes in the middle of it. I arrived in daylight, so I could see them. You can easily avoid them, but in any event, be aware that they are there. These are not just inconvenient holes in the road. They are large.

Nice hotel. I slept well and the employees were friendly. Breakfast was great. Nice location there is a store next to it. Needed plates for dinner and was provided with them. Great that there was a pull-out sofa in my room as well

My famiky and had a great stay here and the staff was so friendly. The room was warm, clean and welcoming. Most hotels are all white and feel sterile and not very welcoming. We were finishing up at 5000 mile trip and the beds were so comfy. Love it and will be back! God bless you!

Very clean, adequate rooms, friendly staff. The breakfast was as expected. This is a good choice for a night on the road. What you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Easy access from I-64. Bob Evans across the road. Ample parking for towing a trailer.

Needed an overnight stay around this area after a long motorcycle trip. We typically choose Hampton Inn so was glad to find this location. FYI: entrance sign is small and hidden. We saw several vehicles miss it. The hotel is VERY dark and dated. I would’ve sworn it was another hotel brand that the Hilton group purchased. Wallpaper peeling, furniture ripped and stained in lobby. Guest room was even darker- the lack of lighting is astounding and with the dark furniture, it was very dreary. After checking in, we walked to a local restaurant for dinner. Came back to find ants all over a nightstand. We had not left any food or drink there so not sure what attracted them. Wiped the stand with a Lysol wipe and went to bed as we were exhausted. Next morning, they were back. Reported to front desk at check out. Workout room was closed so can’t speak to that. Looked like it had been closed for awhile. This location is in serious need of updates and renovations. We would not select this location again.
