馬奎爾之屋民宿(Maguire House Bed and Breakfast)

A hidden gem of a view on a pristine lake. Lovely gardens and grcious hosts. We are not really breakfast eaters but food and snacks were plentiful and delicious. Beds are small, full size, no kingsize. Rooms very lovely. Air conditioning window unit and fine but bit noisy. Still, a very nice two day stay and easy commute to our events in Ashby.

Maguire House is a lovely, well appointed Bed and Breakfast. The hosts are wonderful and attentive. Best of all, a fabulous breakfast, served at your leisure! We took the opportunity to walk the grounds , which are beautiful and the view is spectacular!

My wife and I booked for an overnight and were not disappointed. The charming historic house is located in Ashburnham well away from the hustle and bustle of central Massachusetts where we live. The house is located on a huge property that was fun to explore, but only has three rooms so you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The couple who managed the property were helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was also fantastic! I would like to go back during warmer weather to explore the lake more. Hopefully they have the availability :)

What a lovely stay, we arrived late and it was so nice to be greeted with a warm smile. The room was so clean and comfortable, we had a great sleep. The biggest surprise was the view out the window when we woke up! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!! Breakfast was amazing. Will definitely return!

My husband and I so enjoyed our night spent at the Maguire House Bed and Breakfast. It is set in the most gorgeous location, looking out upon a large Massachusetts lake with islands and pine trees lining the distant shore. The grounds are impeccable. Inside this 18th century house, the decor is charming and relaxing. Everything is in tip top shape from comfy furniture to the gleaming hardwood floors. The comfort of our room, the Wisteria Room, was perfect. The bed and linens ****** us right in and gave us a good long sleep. I loved the tub which I filled to the brim with hot water laced with lavender bath salts. The breakfast! Yummy bacon and eggs for Ian and a breakfast burrito for me. I loved the fact that I could go down to the dining room before breakfast and fix a coffee for me and a tea for my husband. Sweet treats like cookies, drinks, chocolates and other nibbles were set out and available. Our hostess was delightful and fun to talk with. We felt right at home and hope to return.

Fantastic stay at the Maguire House. Everything was above and beyond comfortable. Stunning views from every room. Beautiful decorated and very clean. Delicious breakfast. Great location. Hosts Paul and Terry go the extra mile! I will definitely be back.

A magnificent find! Our family has lived in the Ashburnham/Gardner/Fitchburg area for many years and not known about this gem. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed this beautiful venue on Lower Naukeg lake with a picturesque view of Mt Monadnock. Rooms are perfectly curated with all the charm and character of old New England. I can't even begin to describe the elegance of the breakfasts that were served - and the home made recipes were very special. It's about an hour's drive from Manchester or Boston and well worth the drive through well maintained country roads. The property owners made us feel so welcomed - like friends. We will certainly go back again.

Both the grounds and the entire house are beautifully appointed with lovely details. Terry creates a warm and inviting a**osphere. Bed linens are lovely and the little treats in the room are a nice touch. Especially relaxing was the soft music in the background of the main floor reading room. Her breakfasts are both generous and outstanding! Thank you Terry!

Absolutely first class accommodation in an extremely scenic setting - wonderful views of both mountains and lakes this coupled with top class friendly service from our hosts Terry and Paul made Maguire house one of the highlights of our holiday
