I stayed at the hotel I checked in and realised the the toilet had skid marks within 3mns after checking I reported to the reception and they came and changed me another room and they said theyvwill give me a voucher for 5p% since February nothing came I stayed again 3 months times after and the lady who is the manager I told her and she said she will sort it out but still up to now nothing came I have the letter now of the offer to give me the 50% of my next booking .. I end up giving up they are a scam why promise if you can't deliver your promise . And the manage even went to the extent of saying the house keeper never miss a thing like I was lying where as the receptionist came and witness the toilet within 3mns of checking in and she apologised.. DO NOT GIVE FAKE PROMISES TO CUSTOMERS AFTER YOU MADE A MISTAKE.

Upon booking my stay at this Travelodge, the confirmation came through saying another date to the page that I agreed to book. I even still had the browser open at the time and screenshotted it. When I called customer services, a dismissive woman couldn't really care less. When I arrived, we were put into a room which had clearly not been cleaned. There were dead insects, suspicious stains and used equipment everywhere. Worse still was the missing ceiling tile in the hallway, which had exposed a large collection of black mold. The whole hallway reeked of rotting and decay, with the room being uninhabitable. As an asthmatic, this caused symptoms for me and I have since had to visit my GP over this. Luckily, my we were changed to another (slightly cleaner) room. By this time, I could not sleep due to weezing throughout the night. Seth, on reception, tried his best to rectify the situation but had his hands tied. The same could not be said for Caitlin Paul in Customer Services, who fobbed me off with refunding the amendment fee. Not only did your website scan me and force me to pay a higher premium, due to your error, but my wife and I were subject to a genuine health hazard. Caitlin clearly didn't care and refused to refund the money that I was forced to pay extra - really, I should have asked for the whole thing back! This is a shoddy dive of a hotel and should be closed down. I have lots of unpleasant photos, which I am forwarding to the council. If it was cheap, you could have said you get what you pay for. No, this cost around £90 for the night! I can get an Airbnb cheaper and will from now on. I have never had an experience like this on there.

Dulce was very welcoming and helpful. Always professional and helpful five star service. She took extra care to make sure I was happy with my room and that it was clean and tidy.

Couldn’t ask for a friendlier team or cleaner hotel. Staff are very accommodating and my room was basic but very clean. Ran out of tea and Dulce, the hotel manager stocked me up so happy days. Overall a good stay, value for money and the location was ideal for me.

I recently stayed at Travelodge Arundel Fontwell and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for exploring the area. What really stood out was the excellent service from the manager, Dulcie, who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about guests’ comfort. The room was tidy, the bed comfortable, and check-in and check-out were smooth. I also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend this Travelodge to anyone visiting Arundel and will happily stay here again.

Excellent base for exploring West Sussex, directly opposite Fontwell racecourse. The area is being developed with residential property and the onsite garage has a Waitrose and there’s a new Co Op a few minutes walk away and a pub directly opposite next to another Travelodge. Arundel is a short drive for restaurants.
