塔科馬萊克伍德TownePlace套房飯店

Due to the Crowdstrike bug affecting Delta Airlines in July 2024, I had to book a couple nights here, last minute. It's definitely a bit out of the way, between Tacoma and Seattle. I think it was like a 40min drive from SEA, even at midnight. But it was worth it as it's a nice, comfortable hotel. As a TownePlace Suite, it's made for more long-term stays. Which means it has a kitchenette and dining table, which is always great. Since I didn't have a car and I was no longer there to sightsee, I basically stayed in my room two days straight. Having the microwave and other utensils was great for reheating leftovers and such. There's not a whole lot around this property in terms of eateries and shopping. There's a gas station next door, so that was good for getting snacks and supplies. Within walking distance, a Subway, a Denny's, and a couple other local restaurants. So you have a few options. I will say that walking across the main intersection there can be a bit scary. This is right off a highway and the speed limits on the main roads seemed high (or at least people were regularly driving over them). This is a suburban area, where cars dominate. Something to keep in mind if you decide to hoof it. Back to the hotel itself, they had a free breakfast everyday. Nothing fancy, but provided proteins, carbs, fruits, and most importantly, coffee. That was appreciated. And it was quiet place. During the day, I worked remote and was never bothered by noises outside or other guests. The bed was super comfortable. After spending 12hrs in an airport dealing with multiple delays and finally a cancelled flight, it was nice to just lay down on a comfy, clean bed. If you're in the more immediate area for business, or you're passing through and need a place to stay for the night, I think this would be a great option.

Hotel is right off I5 south of Tacoma near Lewis-McCord, Air Force/Amry base. Easy access to freeway and Lakewood business. The staff, room size, and amenities met our expectations of Marriott properties during our 3 day stay. It is not a higher-end Marriott property. Outside parking and Breakfast available. Kitchen include in our room.

Very nice place. The staff was excellent from every aspect. The check in was fast and easy, the clerk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and a nice variety and options I would not have expected. The room was perfect and the best part was the shower. Many times the water pressure is pathetic but this was fabulous.
