阿羅薩瓦爾薩納飯店和公寓

Für eine kurze Auszeit wählte ich Arosa und dieses Hotel. Das Hotel liegt unweit des Bahnhofes und der Ortsmitte. 2 Bushaltestellen liegen fast direkt vor der Tür. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr sauber und stilvoll mit hochwertigen Mobiliar ausgestattet. Der Spa Bereich ist zwar nicht sehr gross, aber ausreichend um sich zu entspannen. Auch hier war alles sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Frisches Obst, Tee und Handtücher waren ausreichend vorhanden. Das Premium Doppelzimmer war gross und man hatte einen tollen Blick auf Arosa und die Berge. Gratis Kaffee und alkoholfreie Getränke gehörten dazu. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Eierspeisen konnte man a la Carte bestellen. Am Nachmittag konnte man in der Lounge bei Tee und Gebäck die Aussicht auf die Berge geniessen . Zusammengefasst war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, und man hat sich wohlgefühlt.

We stayed for a long weekend in a premium double room which was excellent. Even though we were on the 1st floor and overlooking the road the room was silent and the bed very comfortable (especially the pillows). The spa is great - two large saunas and one steam room. The staff were fabulous from start to finish, esp the front desk who made every effort to ensure my wife’s spa appointment was made possible after a mix up with the times. We opted for the “dine around” half board option which was definitely worth doing. The highlight was going up to the hotel’s Alpenblick restaurant on the mountain for dinner. We were met at the base of the mountain by the restaurant’s snow mobile and were whisked up to the warm and cosy lodge where we had the most amazing meal by the log fire. The staff in the Alpenblick were as great as the food and it was by far the most enjoyable meal of the 3 nights. At the end of the meal you are taken back down to the bottom of the slope and were met by the Valsana’s driver to go back to the hotel. We took our meal for the 2nd night in the main restaurant of the Valsana’s (very grown up) sister hotel the Tschuggen Grand. 5 courses were included in the HB option and whilst it was a delicious meal we felt it all to be slightly OTT (jackets and chinos are the order of the day which seems a bit much in a ski resort). For the final night we ate in the Valsana, where sadly we felt the menu to be a bit confused. Nothing really stood out but that might be because we’re predominantly meat eaters rather than vegetarians. Finally as others have said we found the CHF6 charge for a bottle of tap water was a bit much - please stop it! In summary though I’d definitely go back to the Valsana’s, and I’d also highly recommend the Alpenblick experience.

Die Zimmer sind genau wie beschrieben. Wellness sehr gut, Schwimmbad vielleicht ein wenig klein. Zimmer sehr komfortabel. Leider fehlt es ein wenig au Privatsphäre bei den Zimmern mit dem Balkon Richtung Wald. Anlage sehr sauber. Was die Note nach unten bringt. Am Frühstuck wurden bestimmen Personen und Familien von einem Mitarbeiter (oder Chef?) besonders gegrüsst. Warum wurden wir ignorieren? Das ist das Einzige, was nicht stimmte. Trotzdem werden wir wieder gerne kommen.

The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring a wide array of fresh pastries, cheeses, and fruits to start the day off right. For those looking for relaxation, the hotel’s wellness center was a sanctuary. After a day of skiing or hiking, indulging in the spa treatments and unwinding in the sauna was the perfect way to recharge. Arosa itself is a charming village with plenty of outdoor activities year-round, and the hotel’s proximity to hiking trails and ski slopes made it an ideal base for our adventures. Overall, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. It’s a place where luxury meets nature, and we can’t wait to return to create more unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Arosa!

The Velsana exceeded my expectations from the reviews I had read on here. The hotel was modern, well equipped and with excellent facilities. The service was extremely good throughout. I can particularly recommend the spa and the yoga classes - amazing that so few guests took advantage of them while we were there. I would certainly recommend this hotel - it’s really excellent value for money too! 😊

Wir waren in Ferienwohnung ausserhalb der Hotelsaison, dh ohne Hotelservice, Restaurant und Spa. Grosszügige, sehr schön eingerichtete 3.5 Zimmer Whg. mit drei Toiletten und grosszügigem Balkon. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn auch nicht günstig.Unkomplizerter Empfang, da Hotelreception gleichwohl bedient.
