New England Motor Inn is a well set-up place for travelers who are staying in Armidale for a short term, like us, or a medium term. You can walk around the area, it has parks and retail stores, such as Coles. There's also a wide-open park, that is good for families. The room is well-equipped, with a TV and fridge. Prices are reasonable, travelers can look around the town.

We had an excellent one-night stay at this hotel. We were 10 motorcyclists and were split up between this hotel and a next door one, and there was some off-street undercover parking for us. The rooms were clean and had all the facilities you need. The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in and check-out (unlike the other hotel). The location was in walking distance of the water, cafes and shops. I would happily stay here again.

Lee was very helpful in arranging a ground floor room for us at short notice. On arrival we were welcomed warmly & offered a free beer/cider/wine. Complimentary bottles of water were supplied in the room fridge. Bed was quite comfortable & the room was furnished with recycled timber furniture which was a nice change from the generic motel room design. The room also had a lounge & a table & chairs. Location was perfect for our needs, being next door to the bowling club & close to shops as well. Will definitely be back.

Great location, close to shops, cafes and having the Bowling Club is right next door was brilliant for dinner after a later than planned arrival. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Nice friendly welcome on arrival with a complimentary beer. Good value for money.

This accommodation far exceeded our expectations for a country motel. Armidale being a chilly place, the rooms felt insulated and heater worked well. Beds very comfortable. In our opinion this room was comparable to a room at Rydges. Bathroom sparkling clean and spacious. Can’t wait to return!

Staff very nice and helpful. Advised where to go for restaurants.Complimentary drinks on arrival. Rooms very comfortable and so clean. Close to Coles and the Bowling Club.Bed could have been updated but overall all good. Would have no trouble staying there again.

They changed our booking to a downstairs room, due to a recent knee injury. The hotel had been upgraded since my last stay and is still very comfortable. Very central to most things. Definately stay here again.

I haven’t stayed at this motel in around 30 years. Back then it was always welcoming and nothing has changed, check in was fast and efficient and even a complimentary drink of your choice on check in, will definitely be back now I am travelling to this area again.
