Wunderschönes Erlebnis!!! Auf jeden Fall zum empfehlen, sauber, lecker und extrem nett! Wenn du eine Entspannung und Auszeit mitten im Wald brauchst, bist du hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Wir hatten großes Bungalow, mit Affen auf dem Balkon und wunderschönen Papageien auf den Bäumen.

Great place to stay! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We switched from a room to a cabana within the first hour, the room and bathroom was quite sad, but the cabana is fantastic! It's huge, 2 floors, great bathroom, great bed, amazing view. The pool and natural pool are great. The view of the mountains from the lobby and restaurant is stunning, every day. You do need a vehicle to go from the hotel to anywhere else as it is remote. *** Edit: I've stayed here 3 times now and it's phenomenal every time. They've added an espresso machine and now serve cappuccino etc, Amaya is a fantastic barista. They're stepping up the service and it shows! Special thanks to Akile for taking care of us. They threw a huge party at Valentines and it was super fun. We'll be back again!

Our stay at Arangala Forest Lodge was one of the most memorable moments from our vacation. The staff was so accommodating and was ready to help us with absolutely anything. The food here is soo lovely and we were lucky to experience a special treat: Manioc coupled with Pork Curry and Toddy in the afternoon followed by a dip in their natural pool. The night ended with a BBQ and Bonfire coutersey of the staff. The most stunning feature of Arangala Forest Lodge definitely has to be their tented cabanas. You'll be surrounded by nature and greenery and this will be a lovely experience regardless of whether you travel with family and friends or are in for a couples treat or solo trip. 10/10 experience!!!

We had the best time here. The lodge we stayed in was great as well as the service and also got cleaned in the middel of our stay. The beds are nice and soft! The people serving in the restaurant are really helpfull and funny. Thank you for the time over here!

What an absolute find. This place is unreal, the short, yet sharp climb off from the main road, winding up the hill into the forest was interesting and to find such a beautiful reception, opening up the views far and wide really are exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have the wild pool to the rear of the property up some steps that is well worth a visit, with the main Infinity pool taking in the views of the mountains surrounding and encapsulating this extraordinary place. We stayed in one of their cabins, king superior rooms, (appeared on our booking as deluxe King, th y have deluxe rooms that are actually double rooms on a main block, hidden by trees but with amazing views). The cabin is a short walk up the hill on well lit and well laid concrete or paving’s and there’s a buggy option from the reception, definitely worth it with bags. We walked mainly in between as the monkeys come and visit and the sounds of the birds, monkeys and frogs are quite something. We booked on BB but there is a HB fixed menu option you can pay on the day and chose whether you wish to have that or their ala crate menu. Restaurant staff incredibly helpful and speak good English. There were two weddings whilst we stayed and the team were great to tell us of traditions and the first wedding, we were invited to join by the couple as they were so proud to have people enjoy their day. Such a great experience. We also visited the birds and fed Sun Conure’s parrots, the keeper seemed genuinely caring to these birds and it was endearing. Fabulous place, good food, stunning views and would definitely recommend.

We had a great short stay, even decided to stay for one more night. If you are around it is definitely worth visiting, Akila kulatunge will meet you and take care of everything you need during the stay, really amazing staff. Dinner is also recommended as you can get amazing food from their garden with sri lanka style.
