大高原之門多米奧度假村

Mooi Resort met fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen, vanuit het resort ski je via de Gerats lift zo naar het skigebied. Het skigebied is prachtig, uitgebreid en heeft voor elk wat wils. Aan het einde van de skidag met de de skibus, die elke 15 minuten rijdt, terug naar het resort. De accomodatie was goed en ruim opgezet, het schoonmaken kon wel iets beter. Leuk zwemdad en goed restaurant aanwezig, ook de broodjes service elke ochtend was prima. Zeker een aanrader om naartoe te gaan.

Prachtige locatie. Mooie chalets / appartementen, 2x al hier geweest, je ziet dat de oudere geschreven reviews niet meer kloppen, Dormio timmert behoorlijk aan de weg. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Uitstekende matrassen en kussens, zullen recent vervangen zijn, fitness ruimte ook enorm opgeknapt. Restaurant "1850" ook een aanrader, Parkeer garage is groot, moet wel voor betaald worden. Er zijn appartementen die niet door/via Dormio beheerd/verhuurd worden maar door een andere organisatie, wat daar de ervaringen van zijn .. ach die kunnen geen gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van Dormio Resort Les Portes du Grand Massif.

Mooi, ruim en rustig appartement (enkel 's morgens vroeg wakker door de sneeuwruimers). Aangename hamam en sauna (enkel jammer dat de jacuzzi het niet deed). Zeer aangenaam onthaald door het personeel! Vreemd dat zo weinig mensen kozen voor de half pension formule. Wij hebben genoten van de ontbijten en de 3 gangen menuutjes 's avonds (je kan trouwens ook gewoon à la carte eten in het restaurant). Op 1 of 2 details na, was elke maaltijd om de vingers af te likken. Bediening, of ze nu franstalig was of hollands, was top. Via een wegje aan de overkant van de baan, kom je op een groene piste terecht (wel enkel bij voldoende sneeuw). Terugkeren doe je met de plaatselijke skibus en die kwam op één keer na steeds binnen de 5 à 10 minuten. Top weekje gehad!

Séjour en famille, en janvier 2022.le site est très beau, c'est le 1 complexe en arrivant a flaine, donc le plus éloigné de la station. Petite surprise en arrivant a la réception, l'accueil ne parle pas un mot de français (et oui flaine est remplie de hollandais). Les appartements sont spacieux, petit bémol eau et chauffage sont extrêmement difficiles a régler et les canapés un peu usées.la piscine est tres bien, bonne température, un sauna, un hammam et un jacuzzi mais qui ne marche pas. Nous n'avons pas tester le restaurant, mais a chaque fois que nous sommes passés devant celui ci était complètement vide. L'accès aux pistes et situé en face du complexe, mais le retour ce fait obligatoirement en navette (souvent bondé et temps d'attentes tres long). Pour le soir obligé de prendre la voiture pour ce rendre a la station, qui est de plus sans voiture (personne dans les rues et pas un bruit).

Stayed half board in 3 bed apartment with 3 friends. Loads of space, well equipped, amazing views of Flaine Ski Resort from balcony. Breakfast was superb self service buffet with plenty of choice. Dinner was good. Three courses. Drinks to pay for. Bus service great. Not an apres type town but we weren’t after that anyway. Highly recommended. Would love to return.

Seven of us comfortably shared a chalet which would have been a bit cramped with the maximum of 10 occupants. The beds were very comfortable, and all four rooms had en suites with bath and shower over. There was a big dining table to seat 10, and comfy chairs for five or so. The kitchenette was fairly well equipped and had an enormous fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Downsides: strangely, there were plenty of pans but most had no lid. The lighting in the living room is very dim - adequate for sitting around, but a strain for after dinner card or board games. Tips: you get three dishwasher tablets and a tiny tube of washing up liquid, and when you run out of those you have to head to Spar to buy more. If we’d realised, we’d have taken some with us which would have been much more economical for a one week stay. No food at all is left from previous guests, so take your salt and pepper with you! The resort facilities are excellent and close at hand - restaurant (see separate review), and swimming pool with sauna, steam room and gym. The hot tub and the snooker/pool table were out of action during our visit. The resort is high up above Flaine. All but beginners can ski from near the entrance down tracks to the resort, and the free shuttle bus stop is just outside, about 100m from the heated ski lockers in the garage. For the return, catch the bus from Flaine Forêt, or use lifts and tracks to get almost home, and take the bus for the final stage up the hairpin bends. We would all recommend this accommodation if you’re mainly interested in the skiing and the local facilities - there didn’t appear to be evening transport to get into Flaine if nightlife is more your thing.
