It was less then ok , breakfast very boring and same no choice , first night was early check in gave us a room with cockroach and freezer was frozen with ice . Lots of ants . But charged us 100tala for first night . Moved us to second floor , lack of dishes and pots. Ants everywhere even when sleeping ants on bed and glass of water . We left a night earlier . But didn’t give us a break on the early check in with the conditions . I would like some compensation from that booking . One staff was very helpful others not really informed. Kitchen staff n waiter n door person were helpfull . Wouldn’t stay there in the future . Pool needs work paint all rubbed of concrete sractches feet

I stayed in a premium room. It was modern, clean and tidy with a kitchen. The aircon operated well. I love this place because it doesnt come with the hussle/ bustle of the bigger resorts. I get enough of that in NZ. Friends can come to party till 11pm.

The staff provided top of the line hospitality service. They are true the the Samoan culture. Very helpful, and goes above & beyond to assist.

Great place to stay...its not 5 star but my Premium room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

I recently had the misfortune of booking a hotel room through *******, and I must say it was one of the most horrendous experiences I've ever had as a traveler. Upon arriving at the hotel on the day of my reservation, I was greeted with the shocking news that they had no record of my booking. Despite providing them with all the necessary details and receiving a confirmation from *******, the hotel claimed to be fully booked and had no room available for me. Can you imagine the frustration and inconvenience of being left without a place to stay? I was left scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, and the only available option was significantly more expensive than what I had originally booked. I strongly advise anyone considering booking through ******* to think twice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Their incompetence and lack of accountability will only lead to frustration and disappointment. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a reliable and trustworthy travel booking service. Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion.

After 60 days at Insel, I can only recommend this as a place to stay, I will be back soon. German efficiency and its heritage (named after an island in the north of Germany) is a reflection in the staff work practises. The staff are friendly, particularly front desk Patricia and team, always addressing by your name and the cleaning staff (Elizabeth on 3rd floor) professional in their excellence to completing their tasks. The room was comfortable, with air con/fan and a good size kitchenette.

I regret booking here, there are cheaper hotels that are better in the area. The staff are lovely, but the cleaning is horrible. When I checked in there was alcohol can and conditioner on the table next to me bed, used bars of soap and dirty glass. Tired at 3am I just slept and the next day I listed everything that had to be done in my room. The lovely staff did follow through but they were inconsistent. Some days they wouldn't put conditioner, one day the glass was dirty, and one day they didn't refill coffee sachets. There's no sugar or tea in the room. On checkout they tried to charge me for a wifi which I never asked for or used, I told them to rewind the cctv, I have my mobile data I did not need the wifi. Anyways they didn't charge me for it after some resistance from my side. I don't think I'll ever stay here or recommend this place to anyone. Outrigger Samoa is much better I've been told.

Place is real rundown had ants spiders and cockroaches in my room the staff trying their hardest to keep up but they need a whole New Remodel for this hotel. The beds are very old and one of the cleaning Lady took my niece underwears and her husband’s Tank top and food from their room, she did came an apologized but she Never returned the tank top ect as she said she would. It was addressed to the front desk and was never returned. We will Not be staying here again.
