There are two types of accommodation offerings in this world ... The first is a well maintained establishment, the other is a forgotten hovel, and I'm afraid this venue is very much the latter. Whilst the owners/management seem friendly and welcoming, unfortunately the premises have been let go. They are in critical need of a major upgrade, a thorough cleaning, a new roadway and the development of a regular maintenance schedule. It's fine to get defensive and just say that times have been tough through the COVID lockdowns, but that's no excuse to lose pride in such an investment. A bag of nails, a tin of paint and a couple of cleaning cloths wouldn't brake the bank. Do yourself a favour ... If all of the other accommodation choices in town are booked, just keep driving.
