Perfect Antwerpen experience
From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. It is a fusion from the mediaeval times to the present day and it works like I've never seen before! Top score! 10/10

Charming Suites Jan Zinder Vrees rates 10/10 in every way. This property is one of the best places we have stayed in our many years of traveling. We stayed with another couple in the top floor apartment of this beautiful historic building on the very edge of the old town and across the road from the river and the castle, it was an extremely quiet area. Our clean apartment had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and has stunning decor, the beds were very comfortable. The apartment also had a kitchen and seating area. There are TV’s in bedrooms and seating area. The breakfasts were huge and absolutely delicious including fruit, yoghurt pastries, fresh bread rolls cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, fresh pancakes and eggs anyway you liked them. Nicholas and Ronald were wonderful hosts in every way. This is definitely the place to stay when in Antwerp. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

Fabulous Suites and Location
Fabulous place....with great Hosts! Right out of the 17th century...Wonderful breakfast!! Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Location if perfect for seeing highlights of Antwerp. Highly recommend.!!

Amazing place to stay in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes walk from Grote Markt and the waterside.
Beautiful rooms, and Nicolas was a welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Highly recommended. This property is a gem. The suites are in a beautifully restored centuries old building that is conveniently located near the main sites in central Antwerp. The Jan Zonder Vrees suites are historic, but have all the comforts of modern living, including the room’s well-appointed bathroom and high-tech systems for lighting and temperature control. Nikolaas, the owner and our commensurate host, made sure that every detail of our stay was perfect. He provided excellent suggestions for our visit based on our interests and thoughtfully provided recommendations for dining within an easy walk of the property. He also provided us with his signature crepes as part of his excellent breakfast
