"Just outside Villanueva de Rosario located hotel with restaurant, swimming pool and spa. Beautiful and tasteful interior, pleasant service and good food. Spanish in a modern variant. Starters and main courses plus water and wine for around €200. Definitely worth the price."

"We chose this hotel to celebrate a big anniversary which sadly turned out to be a big mistake. Whilst the hotel itself is nice, it’s quite basic and old fashioned, it could have been a lovely place to celebrate. Because it’s far from the town of Antequera you really have choice but to use the hotel restaurant, which seemed like a good idea. With very limited non meat options (no chicken) we opted for Ratatouille Lasagne. However what we got was a starter or children's sized portion of vegetables neatly shaped. There was no resemblance to lasagne. The hotel explained later that it was their interpretation. The price of €16 each was very poor value and due to language barriers we couldn’t complain until the next day at check out. I asked that the hotel contact us by email which they did 3 days later offering nothing more than a feeble justification. This is just extremely poor customer service and based on that we would neither recommend nor return. Our special occasion was anything but special."
