卡普頓飯店(Captain's)

Προς κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο, Στις 24/7/2021 επισκέφθηκα το captains Hotel στην ΣΥΡΟ.Έκανα κράτηση για την ΣΟΥΙΤΑ όπως με ενημέρωσε η κα’ Χρυσούλα στις κρατήσεις του ξενοδοχείου. 1)Το δωμάτιο ήταν Family room και όχι Suite, 2) Άνω κάτω η κουζίνα του δωματίου από την πρώτη μέρα, 3) Καμία βοήθεια από το ξενοδοχείο για την μεταφορά των αποσκευών μας. μας έδωσαν μόνο ένα ζεστό μπουκάλι νερό.4) Δεν υπήρχε για 3 μέρες ούτε σαμπουάν, ούτε αφρόλουτρο και όταν ζήτησα από καθαρίστρια ήταν επιεικώς απαράδεκτη, με επιθετική συμπεριφορά, λέγοντας ότι κάποια στιγμή θα φέρει(ποτέ δεν έφερε), 5) 2 κούπες με καφέ στο νεροχύτη της κουζίνας και η καθαρίστρια 3 ημέρες και δεν τις έπλυνε ποτέ, απαράδεκτη πάλι η καθαρίστρια. Το μόνο που καθάρισε ήταν το καλαθάκι της κουζίνας αλλά δεν πήρε ούτε τα άδεια μπουκάλια νερού που ήταν για σκουπίδια .6) Το πρωινό ήταν το πρωινό του τσιγκούνη ,δεν ήταν για 2 άτομα αλλά για μισό άτομο.απαράδεκτο.πραγματικά σχεδόν έπρεπε να παρακαλέσουμε για 1 αυγό ακόμα, επαναλαμβάνω απαράδεκτο για ζευγάρι που πληρώνει για όπως το λένε (αυτοί) suite room. Επίσης όλα τα παράθυρα παρόλα που ήταν κλειστά έτριζαν υπερβολικά μην μπορώντας να κοιμηθούμε και να χαλαρώσουμε (ειρωνικά: ωραίες διακοπές). Την Τρίτη μέρα μετά από όλα αυτά είπαμε να φύγουμε(μας χάλασαν τις διακοπές), πληρώσαμε τα 3 βράδια και ποτέ δεν μας δόθηκε απόδειξη λέγοντας ότι είχε πέσει το σύστημα στον υπολογιστή. Θα κλείσω λέγοντας ότι πλήρωσα για ＜＜σουίτα＞＞ και τελικά ήταν οι χειρότερες διακοπές της ζωής μου λόγο του Captains HOTEL.

Une vue magnifique sur la baie de Kini. Les chambres spacieuses et joliment décorées avec une belle terrasse. Des propriétaires adorables et un super petit déjeuner qui change tous les jours. Bref une super adresse.

We loved our stay at Captains. All the staff were incredibly helpful, including going above and beyond to help us with the logistics of day trips. There was a useful laundry service which was very easy to request. Breakfast was delicious and they kindly arranged gluten free bed for one of us. The studio was lovely and our terrace with a sea view was a particular treat. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable. The common areas were lovely and had a great view. The pool was very refreshing too. The position in Kini is great, there is lots to do here and a short journey into Ermoupoli. As other reviews note, there is a short but steep walk, but this was fine for us. Syros is a lovely island to visit, lots to do, gorgeous coast and not too busy especially in September. We will be returning!!

If you want to experience real greek hospitality then this is the hotel for you. A proper family hotel where you are greeted with warm smiles and a beautiful friendly family, nothing is ever too much trouble. So much thought has gone into the design of the hotel, it's facilities and it's gorgeous rooms. We booked 9 nights and we really do not want to leave, it truly is a slice of heaven. My son absolutely adored all the family, its how I remember Greece from many years ago when I lived there. Seeing how special they made Harry feel with their warm and caring ways. These are moments that he will cherish forever. We will certainly miss this hotel, the island and its beauty. Thank you for making our first visit to Syros so perfect. We will be back.

This hotel was a great find. It’s in a quiet location with amazing views. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. We had a good sized balcony where we could sit and watch the sunset. The pool area is very nice and quiet. Chrisa is lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is lovely and there’s plenty of it. It’s not far to the beach and restaurants but be aware that the beautiful views mean it’s a steep walk. Kini has a lovely relaxed feel. We really enjoyed our stay at Captain’s and just wished it had been longer.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. We had a studio that had a massive terrace and amazing views over Kini. The kitchen area is small but you could make a meal if you wanted to. The pool area is lovely, albeit it's close to the road. Breakfast was good and it was lovely eating on the terrace, looking at the view. We did, however, find it a bit repetitive as it was the same every day. We also had lunch and a dinner there, and whilst the menu was limiting, the food was good and reasonably priced. The only downside of having the amazing views is that it is a 10 minute walk down the hill to Kini and 15 or so up the hill. The bus stop is close to the hotel so it's easy to get to the main town.

We only got to spend 2 nights here, though I wish it was more. Such a lovely place with lovely owners just a couple of minutes away from the best beach in Syros. Very cozy room, with a spectacular view from the terrace, comfortable bed, and the whole atmosphere is just perfect. The interior design was smart and elegant and the place was always kept tidy and clean.

I booked two rooms at Captain's in early April, and paid the 30% deposit for the reservations, which were fully refundable up to May 26. After our plans changed, I cancelled the reservations on May 15. I received email confirmation of the cancellations. I assumed the deposits would be refunded to my card but neglected to confirm that the refunds had in fact been received. On August 8 (almost 3 months later), I received an email stating Captain's would need my bank information in order to issue a refund. I replied that I was unwilling to send my bank details by email for security reasons. I was told Captain's would be unable to refund the deposit to my credit card. I have exchanged several emails with Captain's since then, without results. I will need to go ahead and dispute these charges from April with my credit card company; the whole process has taken up a great deal of my time. I'm concerned that this establishment, which otherwise looks lovely, might actually make a regular practice of retaining these deposit fees!
