Holiday Inn Express & Suites des Moines - Ankeny

The woman at the desk 4pm 3/11/23 was wonderful. Water pressure was weak like other reviews said but nothing I would be a “Karen” about. The kiddos enjoyed the pool. We stayed one night but I would book again for sure!

New hotel. Sadly, we went down to use the hot tub and it didn’t have one. Just a pool and the water was pretty cool. Other than that, everything was nice and new! Easy biking distance to the High Trustle Trail, yet 25 mile bike ride to the High Trustle Bridge.

Overall.very good. Will probably stay again. We noticed several areas where interior trim was missing…bottom of windows in dining area, window on 2nd floor. The pool lift was not installed. In a box outside the pool area? We asked someone how long they had been open and they said almost a year.

The hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable. The stay was enjoyable as once we went to bed we heard not a peep. Also they now have shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower which was great . Breakfast was great and we would book this hotel again.

The hotel had a great location. It was clean, well-maintained, with spacius rooms and comfortable beds. This is what I have come to expect from Holidays Inns and have not been disappointed. The breakfast was not as good as other Holiday Inns I have stayed at.

Very clean, lots of restaurant choices nearby and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Decent breakfast options too.

New hotel a bit off the interstate, clean bright pool, spotless rooms. Close to lots of restaurants.

We never stayed there, a terrible snowstorm csme in and we were unable to travel. Called to see about a refund or credit snd the answer was no because it was a non-refundable purchase. There was no compromise

There was almost no snow removal in the parking lot and i has to be careful where i parked so that my car would not be stuck in the snow. There was no snow removal even under the car port or sidewalk. The snow was from the night before and it had been packed down. The bed was not very tidy and the bed skirt was slightly off on one side. The sheets and mattress pad where not smooth. The snack shop had minimal options and no beer or wine. The window heater was noisy and it woke me up every time it came on. On a different note, the breakfast bar was well stacked and very good.
