‘Lauwers Loft’ (4 Pers.) Holiday Home with Terrace at Lake Lauwersmeer

‘Lauwers Loft’, with a living space of approx. 45 m² and its connected sun-terrace, has an open, well equipped, kitchen and two bedrooms offering enough space for four people. In one of the two bedrooms is a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower. (Outdoor area:) The sun-terrace is connected to the living and the garden is only 20 meters away from the water. A beautiful beach is just a couple of minutes walking away. Parking is possible next to the chalet. (Distinctive features:) There is a flat-screen TV, as well as a free of charge wireless connection and baby cot and high chair are available on request. (Surrounding area:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views. Other good options to enjoy the local seafood cuisine are the sea harbor of Lauwersoog at the northern side of the lake, the old fishing village of Zoutkamp at the eastside of the lake or at Dokkum, the most northern fortified city of Friesland.
