I arrived with confirmed reservations that I made over a month ago. I was told that there was NOT a room for me. I was transferred to another hotel, further away from the training site where I was taking 10 hour classes. I booked this hotel over many others for its supposed cleanliness, room decor, breakfasts and other amenities.
It's one thing to walk in on a chance to get a room and be denied, quite another to arrive with confirmed paid reservations and find you don't have a room. Supposedly the transfer was "free of charge" and that "I will get a refund on my charge card." We'll see as it hasn't posted yet!
