麥凱探險小屋(Mackay Adventure Lodge)

We stayed one night here going from Cairns to Brisbane and actually said that we would like to be able to stay at a place like this again Very new, very modern, and very clean! We stayed in a private room with a bathroom and was fully satisfied. The Wi-Fi was also very good There was a pool and a big kitchen where you could cook food. It was even an option to get free breakfast at the place Overall a very good experience!

What a delightful surprise to find this awesome new place to stay. Beautifully appointed rooms have everything you need, and nothing you don’t. The products in the shower were a luxe touch (and smell wonderful). The communal kitchen & lounge are spacious and very comfortable and a nice place to meet people. I had a tasty pizza and very pleasant glass of wine from the Wake Park next door. Friendly staff did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Adventure Lodge!

Awesome new accomodation, clean rooms, super comfy beds, continental breakfast every morning and then a one minute walk and you are on the water wakeboarding!! Nice pool to swim in as well and the owners are friendly and super accommodating

We love this place! We initially booked just one night because we needed a rest stop on our road trip. When we saw the attached wake boarding place we knew we had to let our daughter try it out so we extended our stay. The newly built hotel was clean and had modern minimalist vibes and we liked it. The interesting part was the shared kitchen/lounging area where we saw other guests cooking and mingling around. We love the concept. This was also the breakfast area for the included breakfast. The Lady boss Amanda was very accommodating and super friendly. Tell her David sent you!

The perfect stay from start to finish! The owners, Amanda and Dan, went out out of their way to accommodate us especially after our bus arrived at 4am. We were picked up from the bus stop and allowed to check in far earlier than we'd imagined which was such a relief. The hostel itself is pristine with great social areas and a lovely pool. The whole a**osphere is very chill. The decor is modern and it feels more like a hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfy beds and a TV. Included breakfast has something for everyone. Make sure you book onto their tours and the wakeboarding! We really enjoyed them all. Would highly recommend

Super clean, facilities are great and staff are very friendly. They offer tours - one to Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungella national park where we got to see platypus in the wild; and another to Cape Hillsborough to watch the sunrise on the beach with the wallabies and kangaroos. The lodge is also located right next to a wake park:) great experience overall

Reasonable price, the room i booked was just a room with a bathroom. The property features a common kitchen with fridges and dining area and loungeroom. There is also a pool. Secure parking was also a plus. It is out of the main CBD area, but i thought that was a plus, making it more quiet than other hotels.

Awesome place overlooking the wake park. Small bar and kitchen at the wake park doesn’t great pizza. Extremely clean and modern,staff super friendly and helpful. Close to shops and just out of the hustle of town. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Mackay region.
