This beautiful lodge is run by an inspirational lady from Denmark called Karen. Nothing is too much trouble for her and the team. She was a great help to me when planning our trip to Madagascar and made this paradise island our first stop for 5 nights. Ile aux Nattes is amazing, no infrastructure, no roads very friendly and helpful locals when you get lost exploring this tiny island. Aurora Lodge is a great set up in a beautiful location. Great food and wine. Bungalows are lovely and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay Karen and sorry this review is a little bit late.

Arriving at Aurora Lodge on Ile Aux Nattes with the pirogue is a dream – the water is so clear and beautiful, the nature stunning and everything slows down a little. Aurora Lodge is beautiful – the bungalows are decorated with care and esthetics. It feels authentic and cosy. The lodge area – garden and beach – is well taken care of without loosing the feel of island nature – again authentic vibe. The staff are incredible helpful, attentive and seviceminded – and most speak English. The restaurant is really great – creative menu with many small dishes (tapas style), the Zukini carpaccio and the calamari is unforgettable! This place was perfect for me, as you can unwind completely, rest up on the beaches, get out of your head on walks throughout the island, enjoy the wild nature – or do all the activities and adventures in the area. Aurora Lodge offers it all. I did a great mix of it all and had an experience of a lifetime. I absolutely recommend a stay there – and look forward to coming back. Nous y avons passer une semaine en avril 2018 et c est un endroit de calme et un retour a la nature authentique et nous y retournerons . L hôtel se situe sur l ile aux nattes dans un cadre verdoyant et calme .

A beautiful place on a tropical island Not only has Aurora Logde got fantastic beaches but also amazing and well working staff. We were greated everyday with smiles and laughter and the staff did their best to accommodate our every wishes. The rooms were very clean and well looked after with beautiful beach views. After having had bad food on the previous places we stayed, the food there was a welcome sight and very tasty. We finally enjoyed every aspect of our holidays. This place is definitely recommended to all people visiting isle aux Natte. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Aurora lodge is as close to Bounty commercials from the 1980s as I have ever seen. Ile aux Nattes is an amazing place that can only be recommended. The lodge is well-run with good cleanliness. It is easiest to reach by boat, but it is also possible to walk across the island.
