卡斯特洛阿爾維託飯店(Pousada Castelo de Alvito)

On avait réservé une chambre pour 3 et on s'est retrouvés sans doute dans la plus belle chambre, tout en haut de la tour. Spacieuse et le troisième lit plutôt confortable. Petit jardin avec piscine qui doit être sympathique à la saison chaude. Barman tout à fait compétent (c'est aussi lui qui nous a mené à notre chambre et servi le dîner 😲 et qui était aussi au petit déjeuner). Carte réduite pour le dîner, mais c'était bon, ainsi que notre vin rouge de Vidigueira. Petit déjeuner au soleil avec tout ce qu'il fallait. Tarifs très honnêtes. Seul bémol : l'un des ascenseurs est plutôt pour le service, et à 3 dedans, on y est restés coincés.

O espaço é muito bonito e bem decorado, o quarto excelente! Os funcionários todos disponíveis, atenciosos e discretos. localização é muito boa. De realçar que me enganei na reserva e nem por isso tive despesa adicional, OBRIGADA!

Casa de banho com loiças e torneiras fora de prazo. Quarto de reduzida dimensão. Pequeno almoço muito agradável. Localização excelente. Serviço de bar e refeição muito bom. Pena que junto ao nosso quarto estivesse a decorrer um evento para o qual não fomos avisados.

A pousada e muito bonita, o local circundante é bastante calmo. O espaço tem bastante luminosidade e conforto o suficiente. O atendimento da recepção é excelente, muito atenciosos e prestáveis em todo momento. O pequeno almoço buffet foi bastante bom e com variedade. O jantar foi razoável, esperava melhor para o preço.

Die Pousada liegt im herrlich-verschlafenen Landstädtschen Alvito. Eine trutzige Burg, fantastische Räumlichkeiten um den Burghof. Hatten eine 45m2 Suite. Der Empfang war wie in der Pousada Tavira auch hier herzlich und kompetent. Unsere Suite absolut 1a, ein Traum. Klasse Pool. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung für Portugal Fans und solche, die ohne Nightlife OK sind ;-) Frühstück OK, aber wegen COVID geben wir keine genaue Bewertung dazu, das ist zu schwierig mit Maske und Handschuhen. ABER: wir sind ausdrücklich nicht zufrieden mit der Inhabergesellschaft & deren Management. Wir hatten insgesamt 7 Nächte in 7 verschiedenen Pousadas im Alentejo gebucht, gesamt ca. 1.350 EUR. 2 Pousadas wurden im Vorfeld wegen COVID von Seiten der Pousadas storniert. OK, wir haben hierfür Verständnis. Die Pousada in Evora informierte uns nicht über die Schliessung, von der wir erst vor Ort erfuhren (das Hotel war schlicht geschlossen). Wir haben uns vor Ort ein anderes Hotel gesucht. Die Gutschrift des bezahlten Betrages erfolgte über AGODA. OK soweit, dennoch schlechter Service, nicht zu informieren. Desweiteren: Wir hatten in der Pousada Arraiolos 2 DZ gebucht, 1 davon für unsere portugiesischen Freunde aus Lissabon. 2 Tage vor Antritt wurde in Lissabon COVID-bedingter Lockdown/Reisebeschränkung verhängt. Unsere Freunde haben die Übernachtung daher nicht antreten können, wir hingegen schon. Das Hotelmanagement vor Ort signalisierte Kulanz, AGODA/*********** ebenso (!!!). PESTANA hingegen hat jegliche "Kulanz" abgelehnt (unsere Buchung war bis 5 Tage vor Antritt REFUNDABLE) und auf rechtliche Details bezüglich Definition Lockdown hingewiesen. Wir haben dann auf Anraten AGODA/*********** das Management PESTANA direkt kontaktiert, es besteht hier eine sehr lange e-mail Korrespondenz. Keinerlei Kulanz, man bot uns ein "upgrade" für einen späteren Aufenthalt in einem PESTANA Hotel an. Na ja, in unseren Augen "poor service". Insgesamt haben wir doch einige Übernachtungen bei PESTANA realisiert & auch bezahlt. Für uns ist dies eine ganz schwache "policy". Wir sind selbst im Vertrieb/Service grosser Unternehmen tätig und würden mit unseren Kunden anders verfahren. Es ging um eine Übernachtung, Gutschrift 138 EUR bei einem ursprünglichen Gesamtvolumen von 1.350 EUR für PESTANA. ALSO: 5 Sterne fürs Hotel und die Crew, 0 Sterne für das PESTANA-Management.

This is a very special place to come and visit. Beautiful property, stunning location and so very peaceful. Our bedroom was huge and comfortable, really did feel like we were staying in a castle! And what made our short stay even more delightful were the wonderful, kind, and attentive staff. Everyone we interacted with spoke amazing English and were so keen to make our stay perfect. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely surprise this was - staying in a castle on the last night of a long road trip. Our room overlooked the courtyard with big windows which let in plenty of sunlight. There was plenty of storage and beds were comfy, we had a good sleep. The bathroom was a little dark but everything you need is in there and the shower is really good - powerful with plenty of hot water. The aircon in the room was the best we've ever had! Very efficient and a real good plus point - it doesn't switch off when you take your room key out of the slot, so room is nice and cool when you return. We had a meal in the restaurant, a good choice on the menu and not over expensive. Very good wine list too. We had a problem with our dates and needed to amend them last minute, I emailed the hotel early on the day before we were due to arrive and asked if we could come a day early. The problem was dealt with very quickly and when we arrived later in the day the receptionist was expecting us - very impressed :D Alvito looks like a really interesting village and we were disappointed that we only stayed one night so didn't have time to explore. Have booked to return next month for a longer visit.

Impressive and interesting building, somewhat sombre, centrally located in Alvito. Great courtyard. Plenty free parking available. Inside dated. Standard room fairly small with only 1 chair. Bathroom tiny with little space to put your things. Restaurant forgettable from the cafeteria style plasticized menu sheet to the very simple and course main dishes. Better have your lunch or dinner down the road. Breakfast not impressive either with little choice. Staff fine but not overly so. Alvito attractive and so is the countryside around it.
