阿爾圖納德梅因我家飯店(My Place Hotel-Altoona/Des Moines, IA)

Check in was great, room was clean but maintenance was way behind. Drawer fronts were coming apart, toilet water ran constantly, and the water pipes hammered as you took a shower.

Wanted a little weekend get away. Reserved 2 nights. Check in was great, the staff was very friendly and was allowed to check in early which was really nice. In order to open the door to our room we had to put all of our weight into it, same with closing it. This was very annoying. The bath tub was not the cleanest there was hair in the corner. The water pressure was great and hot hot water. Which I love! The recliner was super comfy. The bed on the other hand was rock hard, did not sleep well and definitely felt it the next morning. Did not sleep well as it sounded like they were doing construction on the room above us all night. We made the decision that we could not do another night in this place. Again the staff was super nice and very accommodating where they not only return our money for the night we did not stay but also reinbursed us for the night we stayed. Overall not a comfortable place to sleep. But again the staff was very nice.

All around how great place. Check in lady was pleasant and the room was very clean. We have never been disappointed at a My Place hotel.

As always it was an excellent stay!! This chain never disappoints and Hannah at the front desk was awesome!

A one night stay was fine. Area is busy so a little noisy, but didn't affect sleeping.

Very friendly staff. Room was Clean and beds were comfortable. A brew packet of coffee in the room would be a welcome addition. We would stay here again!

The amenities in the room were very convenient full size refrigerator, microwave and screened windows that opened . Loved the convenience and location to Texas Roadhouse movie theater Prairie meadows horse track and ****** . Everything about my place was beautiful, I would highly recommend this hotel
