For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

Very nice hotel, 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the marina. If you are a family or 2 couples, you must book a senior suite! This consists of a living room, balcony, bathroom, dining area and small kitchen, with stairs leading up to 2 separate en-suite bedrooms, 1 of which has a balcony. Extensive buffet breakfast is included. Gym and indoor pool and steam rooms are also included (book a slot when you are there). Outside there are 2 pools with sun loungers and seating, and an outside bar with great value lunch options. Around the back is a kids pool and a tennis/football court. There is a Spar just 5 minutes walk away for water, drinks and snacks. The marina has many bars and restaurants. The hotel and marina host a large population of British golfers, so not exactly the most cultural Portuguese location….

We have driven past this hotel on many occasions over the years, but decided to give it a try during a recent long weekend break in the Algarve and so pleased we did. It's a lovely little hotel, immaculately clean throughout and very friendly staff. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool which was delightful. The rooms have everything you need and an excellent walk-in shower. We asked for a kettle and got one. Breakfast is plentiful with a selection of hot and cold food. The pool area is very nice with plenty of sunbeds. Very relaxing. The hotel has a licenced bar and the prices are very reasonable. Fortunately, we had a car so could get out and about which might be the only drawback if you didn't have transport - the hotel is somewhat off the beaten track in terms of local amenities. The restaurant next door wasn't open during the time we were there which meant we had to drive in order to get lunch/dinner but that wasn't a problem for us. Really enjoyed our short stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

We are coming to the end of our 10 night trip at this hotel. We are staying in a standard double room and this has been very comfortable. Inside the hotel is beautiful! Beds in rooms are spacious and bed linen changed every day alongside new towels. Although we were staying on street view rooms there was only one night I was disturbed of sleep and this was very brief as people made their way back to their apartment building. There was always plenty options at breakfast and food was really lovely. I cannot comment on dinner as we did not have this included. Pool area is very relaxing and lots of loungers - although the music by the pool was really repetitive and by personal preference, we would have liked more variety as it became boring. Also, for a four star hotel a plug next to the mirror would have been expected? We had a really relaxing massage in the spa here too with a lovely view! The beach is close, lots of bars and restaurants around a 5-10 minute walk away. Old town is not far in a taxi. In our experience the staff were very helpful and if we were to return to this part of Portugal we would definitely consider here again!
