東景民宿

What a delight after a long day on the saddle! We have been riding the C2C. The run down in to Garrigil is gorgeous. We arrived to such a warm welcome, somewhere to put our bikes and lovely rooms. We had read that we could have supper here and did so with deep enjoyment! Delicious beef and dumplings and chicken stew topped off with warm chocolate fudge cake. Beds were very comfortable, excellent shower and a super breakfast next morning! Thank you!

An exceptional B&B in a small village in the North Pennines AONB. We stayed here recently on a driving holiday in the UK. On arrival we were met by the host and shown around the property. There is a large family lounge with a wood burner stove made available to guests. This makes it like a home away from home. We were also given the option of a home cooked meal because the local pub is closed. The meal provided was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. This was probably the best B&B we have stayed in and I would recommend it without hesitation.

I stayed here while walking the Pennine Way and was delighted. The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, the evening meal was delicious and more than I could eat, and the private bath that went with my bedroom had a full bath so I could have a soak. Wold recommend.

Two couples, we stayed one night whilst on a cycling holiday (C2C). East View gets everything right. Very cosy and comfortable. Set in a tranquil location. Good, secure cycle storage. A friendly welcome. Very helpful hosts. (They recommended local places to eat and gave us taxi contact details prior to our stay. Very thoughtful). Lovely rooms, with lots of extras, all very much appreciated, from in room fridges with cold milk and water to fluffy robes and lovely toiletries. Superb and delicious breakfast. We'd definitely recommend you stay here.
