"I had a wonderful stay at Van Serai. The hotel is a traditional house (but has all the amenities of a modern hotel) and is situated in the Deodar forest. Although close to the road, it was very quite and it felt good to be so close to nature. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Especially, Bhuwan the manager, was very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and served in a very beautifully furnished restaurant room. The Jageshwar Dham is within walking distance (25 min) and the Dandeshwar Temple even closer. In total I had a really pleasant time at Van Serai and I regret that I only stayed for one night."
