Vale somente pela localização em cima da praia . Serviço de hotelaria 0. Políticas de utilização do resort muito pouco razoáveis e sem consideração nenhuma pelos hóspedes. A pessoa está na praia, avisa que tem visitas, tem de as ir buscar a receção. Quando podiam simplesmente ligar.A utilização do ginásio fica impossibilitada por causa de aulas privadas. Detergente para as máquinas da roupa e loiça racionado. As casas são datadas e os interiores de mau gosto. Piscina sem vista de mar. Resort de 3 estrelas a cobrar preço de cinco.

For anybody who cares even remotely about Nature you should be aware that Dunas Douradas resort is ACTIVELY derstroying a protected nature reserve next to their resort and then lying about it when asked. If you care about the environment at all DO NOT STAY HERE.

Beautiful resort next to an amazing beach. Accommodation first class. Only criticism……. It’s more of a residential settlement rather than a resort. Which is not clear from the web site. Only one restaurant on the site with another in east walking distance but both quite expensive. A short walk along the beach, however leads to a small collection of local bars/ restaurants, where good food and drink is often accompanied by live music. A better equipped supermarket would be a huge improvement.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights which was the first trip abroad child free for 4 years so we went all out! We arrived at the gated front at 7.30pm, through to reception, all checked in quickly and into our garden view apartment. A lovely view of the sea from our balcony and inside very spacious with a large bedroom, en-suite, separate toilet and shower, lounge and large kitchen. The reception arranged for a taxi to pick us up from just outside the apartment to Villamoura. Next day I walked down to the shop on site, a good selection of cereals etc and warm pastries and take away coffee. Following breakfast we ventured down towards the pool area, had a lovely coffee in the sun and then walked down to the amazing beach which was absolutely beautiful. We had booked a couple of beach bars nearby for the day (Izzy’s and Julia’s) Final morning we headed for a walk on the beach again, packed up and headed for check out where the lady at guest relations was there who requested feedback. The trip was like a second honeymoon, 10/10 throughout and if we are able to secure a baby sitter again next year we will 100% be going back as I can’t recommend enough!

Dunas Douradas is a stunningly situated and pristinely-maintained resort nestled between Quinta and Val do Lobo. We have stayed several times and loved each visit. The service is excellent, with friendly and super helpful team members. The properties are beautifully appointed and fitted with nearly everything you could possibly require. The beautiful terraces are a great place to relax, have a hot tub or make use of the excellent outdoor kitchen. This time we stayed in J23, a newly refurbished property, which was simply gorgeous. A daily cleaning service is provided, with sheets changed twice weekly. The bed/linen quality is absolutely amazing. The resort has several pools including an indoor heated pool. The on-site restaurant/bar is excellent - we just had lunch here and also ordered dinner up one night. Maria's restaurant is a stones throw away out the back gate and also an excellent option for lunch. Quinta Shopping Centre is less than a ten minute drive as well as a variety of gorgeous restaurants. We rented a car and used Uber for dinner transfers (a total steal!). Our daughter is older, but the resort is excellent for children - including a children's pool and playground. We cannot wait to return.

We haven’t stayed here before …. But I would choose this place over any in the vicinity … it is incredible !!! The apartment was so spacious , modern .. with a hot tub .. it opened out onto beautiful grounds which are immaculately kept .. a short 2 min stroll to the pool and beach . Right out of the gate onto the beach is Maria’s restaurant which we love so that was fab and a few minutes walk along the beach the other way are Julia’s and Issys … just a perfect location. The pools are spotless … new sun beds and cabanas were delivered whilst we were there .. a special shout out to Augusto Silva the pool man who was incredible. The staff .. all of them bar none were the most friendly and professional I have come across … the bar guys make a mean cocktail ! I cannot recommend highly enough … 5 ⭐️ all the way … If I had to be v v critical id like the pools to be slightly heated this time of the year . Cannot wait to return … !!!

Venho a 16 anos seguidos para este resort e estou desiludido com a qualidade do atendimento e do serviço, conseguiria ter um serviço igual ou melhor num hotel de 2/3 estrelas e pagar 6x menos. Como se isto não chegasse, o chefe da segurança Sr Nelson do grupo 8 é extremamente arrogante, nao tem o mínimo respeito pelas minhas crianças nem para a dos meus amigos e conhecidos mas quando se trata de estrangeiros ou de adultos a sua personalidade arrogantemente e agressiva muda completamente. Este mesmo por desconfiar que um dos meus filhos nao estava alojado no hotel encostou a cabeça a do meu filho e agarrou lhe pelo braço tentado o expulsar do hotel de uma maneira violenta, mas como acontecimento muitos outros ocorreram durante a minha estadia e da minha família. Para além desta perseguição constante por parte do segurança, o serviço e atendimento é realmente péssimo.
