Awesome stay with scenic lakeside view and excellent hospitality by staff

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES Thanks once again for serving is the best treat Keep it up 💕🙏😍

Very terrible experience they are not ready to provide early check in and there is no cancellation allowed, purely money oriented people are maintaining this property if any one wants to spoil their trip this is the best place for that

Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages delivers on a personal level. The staff greets you kindly, anticipates your needs, and treats you like family. The lakeside setting offers effortless access to boat rides, birdwatching, and sunset views. The on-site organic farm has vibrant vegetables, fragrant fruit, and a perfect location for morning/evening walks. Highly recommend for a peaceful, nature-immersed stay.

Staying there was a very pleasant experience . It's value for money. We booked 2 lake facing rooms . The room, food , view , service were excellent. Travelled in a house boat and visited malarikkal. Would definitely consider visiting there again .

Excellent service and exceptional view. Stay was worth the money we paid. The food was fresh and the place just felt like a home. We had a great time fishing at the premises and the location is so calm and serene. Special mention to the cooks and the caretaker Arjun.
