Our stay at The Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room left much to be desired. We arrived just at the end of the check-in hours, which close at 5 PM, only to find that the restaurant was closed for dinner. This was disappointing, especially since they don’t offer breakfast before 8 AM or even a to-go box. There were no snacks or food options available on the property or nearby, and the closest grocery store or restaurant was a 10-15 minute car ride away. The rooms are very outdated, with many things falling apart, clearly in desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately, our room was also dirty, and we even found worms on the floor in the morning. Despite these issues, the AC worked fine, and there was coffee and tea provided in the room. The beach is a 15-minute walk from the property, which was another downside considering the limited amenities on-site. For what it offers, The Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room is very overpriced. There are far nicer hotels with more amenities and closer proximity to the beach available at the same or even lower price. Hotel hast new management.

Really? Closed on Friday nights in May. Who closes on a Friday night? So much for date night. So much ch for pizza. No notice for people to read online. Sign out front says Pizza everyday. You don’t find out until out of vehicle and at door that they are closed on Fridays. Since when? They should post it somewhere.

The Island of Eleuthera is by itself a tropical paradise, but a place like The Sunset Cove & Rainbow Room gives it that special atmosphere that one expects to turn a good experience into a fantastic one. The Restaurant is top class. The food is excellent and the staff is very kind and nice. The resort stretches on a panoramic hill with the best view imaginable. The sunset view from the balcony dining is world class. Ordered my drink, enjoyed the view of the sunset while my food was being prepared and in a short time, I was served my best meal on the Island. The owner is very charming and makes sure all is perfect. My experience here is excellent from every aspect. Will I come back? Most surely! Would I recommend it to my friends? I already did!

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Sunset Cove two weeks ago. We each had our own room overlooking the beautiful garden, the pool, and the ever so gorgeous sunset!!!🌅🥰 Stephanie and her husband Andrea (pronounced Andrèa in Italian), the hotel managers were the most gracious hosts. They made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Further, Stephanie took us for an impromptu tour of the northern part of the island. Such an unexpected treat!!🙏🏻❤️🥰 The porch area in the restaurant, The Rainbow Room has breathtaking views of the Rainbow Bay and the sunset. The Rainbow Room is "the place where everybody knows your name"!!! It's the locals' favorite as well as the visitors'. Ms. Lavelle who was managing the restaurant with her grace and charm, Mr. Johnson who was spoiling us with his generous pours, RJ who was waiting on us with his welcoming smile, and George who was attentively handling the wood fire oven and making the best pizzas, remembered our names, and greeted us with their genuine smiles every time.🥰 Their food is delicious and the service is exceptional!!! They have a wood fire pizza oven shipped directly from Italy, so you can imagine how wonderful their pizzas are. We had their Lobster Truffle Pizza which was scrumptious!!!😋😋 At our request, they made us Bahamian Chicken Souse the next day as we wanted to try authentic Bahamian food. Yummy and very filling!!! The location is perfect as it is on the main Queen's Hwy, and centrally located to all the main attractions that this beautiful island has to offer. Short drive to sandy beaches, Glass Window Bridge, Hatchet Bay Caves, Sapphire Blue Hole, and so much more. And above all, Sunset Cove is a secluded escape with the perfect balance of charm and beauty. It is a magical oasis to ponder, reflect and reset. In fact, we love this little piece of paradise so much, that we have considered it to be our next destination for a yoga retreat!!!🙏🏻💕🧘🏻‍♀️ Stay tune.....

Nice bungalows, rooms and apartments, very good restaurant Bahamian-Italian fusion, excellent Pizza from original Italian oven, handmade breakfast (not prefacturated!) with croissants, beautiful honey-moon suite, continuous renovations and improvements under way, homemade local herbal liquor available, pool, but first of all: extremely friendly managing couple and staff! Beautiful sandy beach five car-minutesa way.

The place is really cozy and nice. We loved the people and the owner Andrea and his wife were wonderful, bar tender and servers were also wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay. Make sure u try their pizza is delicious. Make sure u take mosquito repellent to the pool side. Thank you for the hospitality. Will definitely come back ♥️ Daniel & Ayled from Florida
