外交官汽車旅館(Diplomat Hotel Alice Springs)

Convenient and good place for a few days in Alice springs ! Recommended

La struttura era in centro, quindi si raggiungeva tutto facilmente. L'unica pecca è che c'è un bar proprio sotto alle stanze affacciate sulla strada e la sera era molto rumoroso e si faceva fatica a dormire.

Diplomat Motel is well located in the middle of the town centre. Woolworth and Coles supermarkets are just nearby. Restaurants are nearby. The staff are helpful.

I requested an upstairs room facing the car park & pool. I live remote from Alice & am aware of issues locally. I wanted to view my car I. The parking area & up away from the noise. A young female receptionist who referred to me an older adult as love on arrival, proceeded to put me downstairs by the gate where I am aware of street antics. I went back & requested a move & was moved by a polite male. Upstairs facing my car park. It suits me to stay there as it’s locked at night & tradies stay there & sit out chatting late giving a decreased opportunity for visitors trying to get into your unit. I booked well ahead & clearly it was not too busy. I am NZ Indigenous & I felt this female receptionist was quite unprofessional. I suspect decided she could treat me differently to any non indigenous person & put me anywhere. Not liking it. Otherwise it was my choice as restaurants & food are good.

Service insuffisant, mobilier usé, littéraire inconfortable. Un vieil hôtel, dans son jus...

Die exquisite zentrale Lage im CBD von Alice Springs fordert ihren Tribut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 1.OG zur Straße, welches richtig gut groß war, einen super Blick über den zentralen Platz bot, aber im EG ist eine Bar gefühlt die einzige in der Stadt, fie zumindedtens bis 1am nachts auf hat, und dementsprechend auch jede Menge Gäste verschiedenster ethnischer Herkunft und deshalb laut etc. Aber es war ein Erlebnis wie in einem Käfig (ringsum Stahlzaun mit Spitzen über 2m hoch) sitzend zu übernachten.

While Alice Springs is a bit rough and tumble, The Diplomat offers an affordable Oasis in the heart of this town. Easy walk to a couple of shopping areas and points of interests and easy pickup for the tour companies. You can certainly go other places for food (definitely recommend The Bakery), but their cafe and tavern are top notch! Great menu and excellent dinner options in the pub. The room was clean and the bathroom was roomy. This is not a high end resort and some TLC and building updates could be implemented, but the staff is friendly, security is good, 24 hr. Reception and excellent food make this a great option to base your stay in Alice Springs.
