Stayed on the 10th May 2024. The hotel was clean. The hotel was very noisy (road noise) together with loads of noise made by people outside. The room also suffered from noisy plumbing. These aspects made the stay unacceptable. The breakfast was just about adequate. Overall terrible hotel.

We spent three nights at the Ibis Budget Alicante, which is located right beside the Ibis Alicante. You check in at the Ibis Alicante and then the ”Budget” is right across the parking lot. The Ibis Budget is considerably cheaper, but I am not sure if the Ibis Alicante is worth the extra. Certainly, if you are looking for a place to rest your head for a few days, having this cheaper option will suffice. We had free parking, wifi was included, the room is small, but clean. The beds are comfortable and the washroom allows you to do what you need to do. I believe that there was also a television in the room, needed or otherwise. Check in at the main reception went smoothly and it is here that there is a small restaurant, that serves a nice menu, akin to what you would find in a cafe. It was also here, that for a reasonable cost, you could have a buffet style breakfast. The hotel is ideally located, just off N-322, and is basically, only about a five minute drive from the city centre. We drove this for several days and parking was never problem, once we were at our destination. We were visiting Alicante in late April, the weather was very mild, bordering on hot. No surprise really, as Alicante is one the sunniest, warmest daytime winter temperature cities on Mainland Europe. Alicante is a very beautiful city, filled with many historical buildings, churches, museums, etc. The most obvious feature, being, the Castillo de Santa Barbara. This 9th century fortress sits on top of Mount Benacantil, which rises 166 metres above the old town. You can get to the top either by accessing a rather steep pathway or you can take the lift, which is installed inside the mountain. The cost is, I believe, 2.70 Euro, over 65, gratis. There is no admission cost to the Castello. Once at the top, you can take a nominally priced guided tour or just wander on your own. There are refreshments and such available at the top. Check out their website for updates and opening hours. This is a must do, the views of the surrounding area is quite spectacular. We spent one day at the main beach in the town, Playa del Postiguet. This lovely beach borders the famous promenade, Esplanada de Espana. This Palm tree lined walkway is paved with 6.5 million marble tiles set in a mesmerizing wavy pattern and runs from the Port of Alicante to Gran Via. There are shops and booths, restaurants, lining it and appears to be a perfect spot where people can gather to socialize. There are many reasons to find, that make this area so enjoyable and, if all that is needed, is access to a home base, why not stay at the Ibis Budget Alicante or, if you wish, upgrade to the Ibis Alicante.
Volveremos!
Good location, clean Hotel, Kind nice staff. The Hotel is located in the center of Alicante, in a perfect location, not far from the beach and other facilities. The staff are nice, very kind and helpful. The hotel is clean. The breakfast is served in nice looking restaurant with good sorts of food.
Terrible place to book a room, Room looked like it was used for staff / tradesmen or worse. Wall onto stairs (see photo) each time anyone used the stairs woke the room up View from window see photo, no ventilation in bathroom, no balcony or view Window shutter broken not operating (open/close) Lights hanging from the wall Ladies blond wig found between bed No fridge just a space for one Only two sockets added for the whole room Door lock sticking very difficult to open Charged for car parking, then refunded, than asked again to pay Lower basement car park, still parking the car and collecting belongings, and lights were turned off, shutter closed, said there was a switch on the wall, but even next day could not find one, so being elderly with two others had to exit via steep ramps in the dark to exit Complained all they said is cannot understand you. People got stuck in the lift, alarms sounded screaming and banging from guests stuck in the lift, after this I was so frightened to use the lift, so I had to use stairs a number of times with limited mobility. Noise from corridors all hours banging, furniture moving, sounded like pipes leaking above the bathroom ceiling. TV was poor, the remote was very dirty and had no id to know what buttons were for what, only a few Spanish channels Had no operating air conditioning, listed as being air conditioned, so asked for a fan, one given but said no AC until May, not what it says on the web site. Reception said water was leaking from our bathroom to room below, see photo of sealing around floor, as clearly they have had a problem before Floor tiles cracked in bathroom Sink, towel rail and stool all cracked Bathroom door was very tatty and rotten at the bottom. One easy chair in the room, so dirty we could not use it to even put anything on, white stains all over it! Safe but no key, (not secure with a key anyway) top by safe inside wardrobe marked with paint etc Electric button in room, no idea what for, push button in wall suspect may be rooms by the hour? Old electric unit on wall by bed with no cover was it safe or live? No Bar, restaurant etc only buffet breakfast. NO information in the room / hotel regarding facilities etc not even pictures on the wall
Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean, modern and fresh. Very comfortable bed, lots of pillows and extra Duvet if needed. Our Apartment had a Beautiful Balcony overlooking the square below which has cafes and restaurants below. Kitchen is modern, basic but functional although the hob was complicated with no manual! Toaster, Fridge, Microwave and kettle. Good quality hairdryer in the bathroom that actually had a switch instead of those silly buttons you have to keep your finger pressed on, fantastic shower with large complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Plenty of towels too! Location could not have been better, 5 mins walk to the prom and all the little side streets with so many restaurants. We got the bus from the airport and got off outside the Melia hotel on the seafront which is a 5 min walk from the apartment. You have to check in at the hotel round the corner and get the key code to your room off the reception staff first, very quick and easy!
We booked this hotel for two night quick break. And the experience was outstanding. The staff are amazing. The two Bea’s at the reception were very attentive, friendly and professional. And appreciate there effort for making our stay special. The room was amazing. You can see the quality in the room finishing and the furniture, bathroom and the comfy mattress! The quality of the doors and windows in the room is brilliant as they really insulate any city noise from the room. The rooftop bar is so nice and the views are superb Thank you for a great experience and we will be coming back for sure
We loved our stay here! The room was very clean and the cleaner did a fabulous job every day. The room had a great view of the castle which looked even better at night. We didn't use the hotels restaurant but the location of the hotel is great as there's loads of restaurants that are only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful every single day. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and if I were to go back to Alicante, I'd stay here again.
訪訪客用戶Worst hotel I have stayed in.
The breakfast is served at 8am, which is very inconvenient, given all hotels usually serve breakfast from around 6-6.30am till 10am. I was there for business and had to miss breakfast as need to be in the office at 8am. Was not offered alternative even though I paid for breakfast.
Hotel amenities are vary basic, everything looks old and outdated, curtains do not close.
Stayed in Estudiotel for three nights and all I can say is that on my next holiday to this city I will stay here again. A big spacious room ,light and airy ,comfortable beds ,flat screen tv,lots of storage ,breakfast was good ,self service Continental style breakfast ,location could not be better, within easy walking distance of all tourist sites and around the hotel lots and lots of pubs, bars and restaurants ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Alicante .
訪訪客
