Freundliche Begrüssung, grosses Zimmer, sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war gut und mit feinen und frischen Zutaten. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, nahe am Bahnhof, Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Wanderungen.

I thought I must let other members know of our experience at a recent visit to this hotel situated in the charming village of Filisur in the Swiss Alps. Our two adjacent rooms were more than satisfactory although a little dated. My main message to all visitors concerns the breakfasts. Do not expect to be sustained by the pathetic offerings put before us during our four night stay.I list the following . 1.No toaster available 2.Coffee machine had the hot plate off hence no warm coffee after 15 minutes. 3.Mixed fruit was tinned.No fresh fruit in site. 4.The Corn Flakes were stale and surely out of date. 5.Constant need to ask for support as the owner hardly ever appeared.eg more milk I could go on but I hope you have the picture. What a shame to report this as we left the hotel on our tour around the Alps seeking food. As no fridge was provided in our rooms we spent a lot in the Coop just to buy the things needed to start the day. Just be warned that this hotel is in my opinion the worst I have had the misfortune to visit for not providing the breakfasts we were charged for.
