Wya Point 度假村

The most telling thing about this place is the road in. It is almost impassable. They have very few expenses beyond road maintenance and it is terrible. All campgrounds are expensive up here, but this one is a rip off. If you don't get spot 8, 10, or 11, stay in a parking lot. It will basically be the same. They don't even have clean water available on the property. It is over a kilometer away in a random parking lot. Also, we asked to changed spots, as they were open, and were told their system didn't allow it. There was no customer service. You will not talk or see anyone from the property. The beach is available but not attractive. Wya Point sits in the fog most days. Spend your money elsewhere and enjoy the drive.

Unfortunately I would not recommend staying here if camping. We booked a two night stay with a campervan and were extremely disappointed that important information was held back until after the point of payment. It is important to know that absolutely no drinking water is available onsite due to the unsafe chemical levels in the water, and that the road leading to the site is extremely treacherous in a small low vehicle. Neither of these are mentioned before booking and hugely impact your experience. Additionally, washroom lights do not working during the night in our experience. It felt very overpriced for what was on offer in comparison to similar businesses.
