卡利亞克海灘飯店 - 全包式住宿

Its not 4 *hotel for sure ..They provaided for me and my mother room with marriage bed ,there are no electric sockets near bed ,there are 2 but in the hall 15 cm above the floor ,we had to wait 5 days to change the bulb in the room to have a light plus mini bar was empty when we arrived ..Those people are a bit dicriminating people other then Germans .Its for me low 3 star or 2.5 .other think we paid for room with sea view ..and our room had a view but for a drink bar at the ground floor ..Total disaster .

Strand Hotel und Poolanlage waren immer sauber. Essen war auch Super. Personal bis auf wenige Ausnahmen immer freundlich. Hotel Leitung hatte immer ein offenes Ohr. Komme gerne wieder hier hin mit der ganzen Familie. Sonne, Strand und Meer

Wir fanden die Animation sehr schön für die Kinder und auch für Erwachsene. Elli, Boris, Yana, Rosen,Ani, Ceti, Gabi und Deca machen eine Tolle Show im 2 wöchigen Wechsel. Wir hatten zusammen viel Spaß. Der Kidsclub lohnt sich auch immer für die Kinder von 10 bis 1230 und 1500 bis 1730 Uhr.

Firstly the positives, the hotel itself is lovely and has everything you need for a fun family holiday. This is however completely ruined by the miserable mood of both the bar staff and hotel staff. On our first day I asked someone where I could refresh my towels, she looked me up and down, shrugged and walked off. My son is autistic so whilst eating in the buffet restaurant I give him a bit of freedom and independence and allowed him to get his own ice-cream, whilst watching him from my table less than a foot away. He is 6 years old. As he was picking up his ice cream a member of staff screamed and I mean SCREAMED at him for supposedly licking a spoon. I did not see him do this but even if he did, it does not warrant screaming at a 6 year old autistic child. I was obviously very taken aback at the level of aggression shown towards my son that I didn't even know what to say at the time. I complained at reception a bit later to which they said they would talk to staff, but nothing changed. Staff do not engage, they can't even seem to smile. It seems that complaints about the attitudes of staff here go back a long way, trust me nothing is going to change. They simply don't care. When you are on holiday trying to have a nice time and you are met with hostility at every turn it makes it really hard to enjoy your stay and to be honest I felt pretty unsafe and uncomfortable here. Albena is a lovely place, beaches are amazing. Just a shame we had to come back to hotel kaliakra every night.

Me and my daughter (10 years old) booked this holiday in March via Love Holidays. The day before we were due to fly out we were contact by the other operator to say we were moving to a different hotel as all the hotels in Albena (and Bulgaria it seemed) has now closed. Alarm bells rang for me then, but we were so looking forward to going away we agreed for the change of hote, still on Albena Beach. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed from Luton for over 6.5 hours so that wasn’t a great start. When we arrived in Varna our paid for transfer was no where to be seen. I called the number on the confirmation and there was no answer. In the end a taxi man asked if we wanted a cab and we were so tired I agreed. He was very friendly and pleasant on the 40 min drive from the airport, then charged us a VERY unfriendly 200Lev (approx £100!!). The hotel was nice enough and the room and view was beautiful of the beach so we went to sleep that night thinking we would have a lovely holiday now we were here. Unfortunately what we weren’t told was rhw ENTIRE resort of Albena was closed so no shops except maybe 2 , no restaurants, no people. It was like thw apocalypse walking around a ghost town. Maybe 30 guests in the whole hotel but most of it was closed off like the other pool and bars etc. weather was not warm so not much to do at all. Food was pretty awful, tiny selection and recycled from lunch and dinner sometimes the day before too. We basically lived off bread rolls and salad. People were extremely unfriendly. No one smiles or says hello, felt like it was all chore for them to do anythjbb for you and made you feel very awkward. As it was my daughters birthday whilst we were there I needed to find something nice to do for her so booked a Safari Jeep Tour in Varna. I booked it on the Monday for hee birthday on the Tuesday costing £110. Received the confirmation but not much info. Then the mornjng of the trip we got a taxi from the hotel to where the tour would start. I called them to confirm we were on the way and they said I can’t come and they had been trying to call for days (when I only booked the day before and received no calls or emails) and that I should have told them where we were staying so they would pick us up. Unfortunately on the booking there was nothing to say to do this or on the confirmation. We had to turn the cab back to the hotel with myself and daughter in tears. I had been ripped off again! We decided to book a fight back on Wednesday (3 days early) into our week holiday. All in all, don’t come here after September. Be vigilant of rude people and those who want to take advantage of your money (especially taxis). Another couple we met had to pay 100lev each for 4 of them to get here from the airport. (It should cost 60 lev tops! Sorry to say but I will never come to Bulgaria again. The whole experience has been awful and we can’t wait to come home!

This was end of season holiday for us and we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and high standard the hotel was and the service was fantastic. The rooms overlook the beach right on the beach no walking distance and the food and drink was gorgeous so much to choose from And the cocktails were made especially for us at the bar and the spirits are incredibly strong. Never had spirits so strong. Could only manage a couple on an evening so great value for money. It’s in a really pretty area surrounded by trees and it was very quiet when we went in October but we would definitely be back fantastic beach front location highly recommended and a good standard to with stunning views and a short distance from the airport. We hired a car which was easy parking was right outside the front of the hotel for free the whole Hotel experience was a pleasure And fantastic value for money if you’re looking for a last-minute holiday, we got way more than what we expected. Only downside was the swimming pools were too cold to swimming and the sea too, but we still sunbed on the beach which was fantastic.
