奧爾巴尼中心歡朋套房飯店(Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Downtown)

Lobby is beautiful, room is great! And the Valet guy Mike was really helpful getting my truck and trailer in.

The facility was nice and clean .The breakfast was good and hot.

The room is very nice

I was not informed upon reserving my room that I would be charged a $30 ‘Room Holding Fee.’ Despite the fact that it was refundable, I was not informed ahead of time & no one could legitimately explain what that fee was for. Additionally, upon parking in the hotel parking lot, I was not allowed to park my own car. Neither the parking attendants nor the manager could justify why I couldn’t park it myself. I didn’t feel comfortable with the attendants parking my car & keeping the key, especially since I had to leave personal & business related items in my car that I needed the next day for a trade show. The lot was not busy at the time my car was parked nor when I picked it up. Finally, I specifically requested a room ‘AWAY FROM’ the elevator & Ice Machine & the front desk person gave me a room that was close to ‘BOTH’ of those areas. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Changing rooms at that point would have made me late for my meeting so I had to lump it and deal with the added noise of the hallway traffic by the elevator & ice machine dumping ice into buckets at all hours of the night.

Check in, lady Rude at the front desk, says she’s tired didn’t welcome us at all or tell us anything about the hotel. went up to the room. Bathroom light didn’t work. Phone didn’t work to call the front desk. Went down and told and she didn’t say anything but sighed and said we’ll switch rooms. Lots of things broken in the room. Water is boiling hot, be careful. So we got to our new room, much better but after washing our hands discovered to be water on the floor the sink leaks. Hotel seems to be dirty in the general areas. Talking to another guest he has to switch his room 3 times because of broken things.

2nd floor where gym was had terrible musty smell throughout entire floor. Daily Parking fee of $18 was never indicated when we made reservation. No housekeeping of rooms during our stay. Shower water leaked onto floors because of cheap curtain. Breakfast is limited. Workers at reception desk were very nice.

Close to the arena and the theater. Not much food options around it. Mostly pubs, no fast food chains in the event you want something quick. Hotel is clean and not too busy. Check in was easy. No line up. You have to pay for parking which is a bummer

Great cheerful staff. Richard and Tara were especially helpful. Especially the morning when we needed a conference room at the last minute. And an HDMI cable. And a power *****. AND another table. They made everything happen immediately.

Check in says 3 o clock but couldn't get into the room till a little before 3:30 and we had somewhere to be.
